Abstract: A curved display device includes a display substrate which is curved in a first direction in a plan view and includes a display area including a plurality of pixels configured to display an image, and a peripheral area disposed adjacent to the display area, an opposite substrate which faces the display substrate, the opposite substrate coupled to the display substrate and curved in the first direction along the display substrate, a grayscale control layer interposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate, and a coupling member which is disposed in the peripheral area, interposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate, and configured to couple the display substrate to the opposite substrate, and includes a first sealing portion which extends in the first direction and includes a light blocking material.
