    Abstract: Provided is a display device comprising a pixel unit including first pixel rows connected to first scan lines and second pixel rows alternating with the first pixel rows and connected to second scan lines, a scan driver including first scan stages connected to the first scan lines and second scan stages connected to the second scan lines, and an emission driver including emission stages in which each of emission lines is connected to two or more pixel rows. Accordingly, the display device is capable of changing a display frequency and maintaining the same cycle in which luminance decreases when the display frequency is changed.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a display device and a driving method thereof, and the display device includes a demultiplexer connected to a first data line and transferring a data signal from the first data line to a plurality of second data lines during a data writing period of one frame, a compensator calculating an on-pixel ratio (OPR) using input data in the one frame and generating compensation data corresponding to a calculated OPR, and a data driver supplying the data signal to the first data line using the input data during the data writing period, and supplying a compensation data signal to the first data line using the compensation data in a blank period of the one frame, and the demultiplexer supplies the compensation data signal from the first data line to a second data line during the blank period.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel, a first gate driver, a second gate driver, a third gate driver, and a data driver. The display apparatus is operable in a low frequency driving mode, and the low frequency driving mode includes a writing frame and a holding frame. At least one of gate power voltages used to generate a first gate signal, a second gate signal, and an emission signal has a first voltage level in the writing frame of the low frequency driving mode and a second voltage level in the holding frame of the low frequency driving mode. The data voltage is applied to the pixel in the writing frame of the low frequency driving mode. The data voltage applied to the pixel in the writing frame of the low frequency driving mode is maintained in the holding frame of the low frequency driving mode.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels respectively coupled to first scan lines, second scan lines and data lines; and a scan driver to supply first scan signals to the first scan lines and second scan signals to the second scan lines, wherein the pixel includes a first transistor having a gate electrode connected to a first node, one electrode connected to a first power line, and other electrode connected to a second node; a second transistor having a gate electrode connected to a first scan line, one electrode connected to a data line, and other electrode connected to the first node, the second transistor being turned on in a first time period of a frame when the first scan signal is applied; a third transistor having a gate electrode connected to a second scan line, one electrode connected to the second node, and other electrode connected to an initialization line, the third transistor being turned on in the first time period and at least one second time period of the frame when the second scan signal is applied; a storage capacitor having one electrode connected to the first node and other electrode connected to the second node; and a light emitting diode having an anode connected to the second node and a cathode connected to a second power line, wherein the number of the first and second scan signals applied to the pixel during the frame period is different from each other.
