    Abstract: A display device includes: a pixel electrically connected to a data line, a write scan line, an initialization scan line, a compensation scan line, a transmission control line, and an emission control line; a first driving circuit configured to provide a write scan signal to the write scan line and a second driving circuit configured to receive a plurality of clock signals, each of which has a time duration of one unit horizontal period and provide an initialization scan signal, a compensation scan signal, a transmission control signal, and an emission control signal to the initialization scan line, the compensation scan line, the transmission control line, and the emission control line, respectively. Each of the initialization scan signal and the compensation scan signal has an activation interval of one unit horizontal periods or more.

    Abstract: A display device includes four pixel arrays, a data driver, and a demultiplexer. The data driver is electrically connected to first and second data output lines. The demultiplexer electrically connects first and second data lines to the first data output line and electrically connects third and fourth data lines to the second data output line. The first to fourth pixel arrays are adjacent to the first to fourth data lines, respectively. Each of the first to fourth pixel arrays includes first and second color pixels. The first color pixels in the second pixel array are connected to the second data line, the second color pixels in the second pixel array are connected to the third data line, the second color pixels in the third pixel array are connected to the third data line, and the first color pixels in the third pixel array are connected to the second data line.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel displaying an image based on input image data, a driving controller determining a low frequency driving mode and a normal driving mode based on the input image data, a gate driver outputting a gate signal, a data driver outputting a data voltage, and a power voltage generator outputting power voltages. The driving controller is configured to generate a writing frame in which data is written in a pixel of the display panel and a holding frame in which the written data is maintained without writing data in the pixel in the low frequency driving mode. The driving controller is configured to operate at least one of the driving controller, the data driver, and the power voltage generator in a power reducing mode during the holding frame.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting diode display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, and a panel driver configured to drive the display panel. Each pixel includes a driving transistor, a compensating transistor including first and second compensating sub-transistors coupled in series between a gate node and a drain of the driving transistor, a storage capacitor, and an organic light emitting diode. The panel driver calculates an average representative gray level of input image data in a plurality of frame periods, determines a voltage level of a node controlling voltage based on the average representative gray level, and provides the node controlling voltage to each of the plurality of pixels to control a voltage of a node between the first and second compensating sub-transistors.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and a panel driver configured to drive the display panel. The panel driver receives input image data corresponding to first, second, and third colors at an input frame frequency, and detects whether the input image data represent a still or dynamic image. If the input image data represent the dynamic image, the panel driver drives the display panel at a first output frame frequency substantially the same as the input frame frequency. If the input image data represent the still image, the panel driver calculates a plurality of flicker indexes of the still image for at least two of the first, second, third colors, one or more combinations of the first, second, and third colors, and drives the display panel at a second output frame frequency that is determined based on the plurality of flicker indexes.
