Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and device for transmitting or receiving data in a wireless communication system. A method, performed by an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, for transmitting or receiving data in a wireless communication system includes, in case of performing a transition between a transmission mode and a reception mode, determining, based on a priority, whether to complete a transmission or reception of first data in a guard interval, and controlling a start of reception or transmission of second data based on the guard interval and a time point at which the transmission or reception of the first data is completed, and wherein the guard interval includes a time at which a transmission or reception interval of the first data and a transmission or reception interval of the second data overlap each other and a time for the transition between the transmission mode and the reception mode.

Abstract: A method by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. Downlink control information including modulation and coding scheme (MCS) information is received from a base station. A number of information bits are identified based on the downlink control information. A transport block size (TBS) is identified based on the number of information bits and a TBS candidate set. The TBS candidate set includes values separated by an interval among a plurality of intervals. Each of the plurality of intervals is a multiple of 8. A first interval between first consecutive values included in the TBS candidate set is larger than a second interval between second consecutive values included in the TBS candidate set. The first consecutive values are greater than or equal to a predetermined value, and the second consecutive values are less than the predetermined value.

The offset value is determined based on a first value O determined according to the index indicated in the MIB, wherein the index configures PDCCH monitoring occasions, and a second value μ indicated in the MIB, wherein the second value μ represents a subcarrier spacing configuration, wherein M is a positive number determined according to the index indicated in the MIB, and cause the transceiver to decode a PDCCH in the slot index n0.
