    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a trigger for the UE to perform a RACH procedure to access a network slice (e.g., service). The UE may receive, from a base station, a random access configuration for performance, by the UE, of random access with a physical network. The UE may identify a network slice to be accessed by the UE, where the network slice may be supported by a logical network associated with the physical network. The UE may select a slice-based random access procedure (e.g., two-step slice-based random access procedure, four-step slice-based random access procedure) based on the random access configuration and the network slice to be accessed by the UE. The UE may perform, with the base station, the slice-based RACH procedure in accordance with the selected slice-based RACH procedure type.

    Abstract: User equipments (UEs) with reduced capabilities may need a relaxed processing timeline relative to standard UEs. The relaxed processing timeline may provide UEs with reduced capabilities an appropriate amount of time (e.g., during a random access procedure) to decode messages from a base station (BS) and/or to prepare uplink messages. Aspects of the disclosure relate to a UE configured to transmit a message to a serving BS, the message including a request for timeline relaxation for transmission of a subsequent message, the message and the subsequent message being associated with a random access procedure. The UE may receive a response message associated with the random access procedure and indicating one or more timing offsets corresponding to the timeline relaxation. The UE may transmit the subsequent message to the serving BS based on the one or more timing offsets indicated by the serving BS. The subsequent message acknowledges the response message.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may receive an allocation of a set of sensing resources and a set of cross-link interference measurement resources. The UE may identify a sensing resource of the set of sensing resources on which a sensing signal is received, and determine one or more of the set of cross-link interference measurement resources that overlap with the sensing resource. The UE may thereby measure the one or more cross-link interference measurement resources for cross-link interference based on the one or more cross-link interference measurement resources overlapping with the sensing resource.
