Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for transmit energy allocation. A method that may be performed by a wireless device includes obtaining reserve information associated with an antenna group associated with a plurality of radios including a first radio and second radios, the first radio communicating via a first type of radio access technology and the second radios communicating via a second type of radio access technology, different from the first type of radio access technology; determining a reserve for each of the radios based at least in part on the reserve information and an active state associated with each of the radios; and transmitting one or more signals using at least one of the radios at a transmit power determined based at least in part on a radio frequency exposure limit associated with each of the radios and the reserve for each of the radios.

The UE may select, based at least in part on the second amount of energy and the third amount of energy, a set of antenna ports, of the plurality of antenna ports, for an uplink transmission. Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for channel mapping in shared spectrum in the presence of higher tier users are provided. One technique includes evaluating, for different channel locations of orthogonal channel(s) within available spectrum, an amount of transmission limitation imposed to a group of devices due to incumbent protection, an amount of available bandwidth, and/or a maximum contiguous channel size. A channel location is assigned to each orthogonal channel, based on the evaluation. Another technique includes determining first channel location(s) in order to assign at least a first orthogonal channel within available spectrum. Each first orthogonal channel is associated with a group of devices sharing bandwidth within one or more networks. An exchange is participated in with a network entity to share a first set of information associated with the first channel locations. A determination is made whether to modify portion(s) of the first set of information, based on the exchange.

The UE may select, based on the set of signal strengths, a first antenna configuration of the plurality of antenna configurations. After selection of the first antenna configuration, the UE may communicate with a base station, in one or more channel frequencies based on the first antenna configuration.
