Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a network node includes transmitting a first group of frames comprising a group of normal slots and one or more first special slots. The method also includes reconfiguring one or more second special slots within a second group of frames scheduled after the first group of frames based on a block error rate (BLER) associated with the group of normal slots failing to satisfy a BLER condition. The method further includes transmitting the second group of frames based on reconfiguring the one or more second special slots within the second group of frames.

Abstract: A mobile device can report its capabilities to a network node regarding one or more phase characteristics between Sounding Resource Signal (SRS) resources transmitted by the mobile device under one or more circumstances, enabling the network to configure the mobile device accordingly. Such reporting can enable the network to coherently process multiple SRS resources, effectively increasing the bandwidth of the SRS resources and, ultimately, the accuracy of a position determination for the mobile device. Various techniques are provided for reporting capabilities and determining applicable conditions.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or a base station. The apparatus may measure a RSRP of a CRS for each of a plurality of neighboring cells. The apparatus may also calculate an interference strength of each of the plurality of neighboring cells based on the RSRP measurement of the CRS for each of the plurality of neighboring cells. Additionally, the apparatus may compare a PDSCH demodulation performance of the UE based on rate matching for a CRS offset associated with each of the plurality of neighboring cells with the PDSCH demodulation performance of the UE based on skipping the rate matching for the CRS offset. The apparatus may also transmit a request for the rate matching or skipping the rate matching for the CRS offset based on the comparison of the PDSCH demodulation performance of the UE.

The example method may include allocating one or more bits of the plurality of rate matching output bits for a modulation process. The example method may include refraining allocating at least one bit of the plurality of rate matching output bits for the modulation process, the at least one bit corresponding to UCI multiplexing.

In an aspect, the apparatus may determine locations for a number of DM-RS symbols to be transmitted in a scheduling unit of a channel configured in a slot/mini-slot, where a last DM-RS symbol maybe positioned one symbol prior to a last symbol carrying scheduled data. In another aspect, the apparatus may determine the locations for the DM-RS symbols based on a selection between a first set of predetermined DM-RS positions and a second set of predetermined DM-RS positions. In another aspect, the apparatus may determine the locations for the DM-RS symbols based on a set number of symbols, wherein the determined locations are spaced apart according to the set number of symbols. The apparatus may transmit the DM-RS symbols based on the determined locations.

The apparatus includes a transmitter configured to transmit the re-ordered bits in accordance with a radio technology via one or more antenna elements situated proximate the receiver.
