    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of UL data duplication avoidance. The method includes obtaining, from an application layer of a terminal device, at least one UL data to be transmitted to a network device, the at least one UL data including one or more application retransmission data and keeping the one or more application retransmission data in a buffer of the terminal device for respective time intervals. The method further includes in accordance with a determination that an indication, that respective acknowledges are received for at least a portion of application retransmission data in the one or more application retransmission data, is received from the application layer, removing the portion of application retransmission data from the buffer. In this way, redundant retransmission of UL application data may be avoided.

    Abstract: A method includes receiving, from a base station, network signaling including information about one or more of a timing advance scaling parameter, a processing-delay compensation parameter, and a timing advance extension parameters enabling threshold/condition; receiving a timing advance index from the base station; adjusting parameters for uplink transmissions using the received timing advance index for the one or more of the timing advance scaling parameter, the processing-delay compensation parameter, and the timing advance extension parameters enabling threshold/condition; and performing uplink transmissions according to the configured and adjusted parameters. Another method includes sending, to a user equipment, network signaling including information about one or more of a timing advance scaling parameter, a processing-delay compensation parameter, and a timing advance extension parameters enabling threshold/condition; sending a timing advance index to the user equipment; and receiving uplink transmissions according to the configured and adjusted parameters.

    Abstract: Example embodiments relate to wideband communications based on availability assessment. A method for communication comprises performing availability assessment on a set of configured frequency subbands to obtain an availability result, the availability result indicating that at least one of the set of configured frequency subbands is available for a period of time for transmission of intended information and transmitting supplementary information that has been prepared using the at least one frequency subband during a first portion of time within the period of time. The method also comprises preparing the intended information based on the availability result and transmitting the prepared intended information using the at least one frequency subband during a second portion of time following the first portion of time within the period of time. As such, the processing of the intended information can be adapted depending on the dynamic available subband(s) indicated by the availability result.
