Abstract:
A method of processing additional information related to an announced service or content in a Non-Real Time (NRT) service and the broadcast receiver are disclosed herein. A method of providing a Non-Real Time (NRT) service in a broadcasting receiver includes receiving a service map table (SMT) and a first descriptor through a service signaling channel, identifying an image identifier and an image type of an image for an NRT service based upon the first descriptor, receiving the image via a flute session and displaying the image when corresponding service is played, wherein the image is logo or icon data for the NRT service. The method may further include connecting a service signaling channel, parsing the received SMT and the first descriptor, determining whether a service is the NRT service based upon the parsed SMT and storing the received image.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and device that may determine a service provided by a WiFi device to be connected before connecting a WiFi direct network. According to at least one embodiment of the present invention, if a service for an owner device of a wireless communication group is discovered for in the process of discovering for a service for the wireless communication group, there is the advantage that is possible to more conveniently perform the service discovery process by obtaining supported service information on each device belonging to the group. In addition, if there is a currently unavailable service in the process of discovering for the service for the wireless communication group, there is the advantage that it is possible to provide information highly necessary for a user to determine network establishment by further providing information on the unavailable service.

Abstract:
Provided are a device discovery method and a communication device thereof. The method includes: transmitting a probe request frame; receiving a probe response frame including session information on a client connected to a group owner (GO), from the GO among source and sink devices belonging to the display group; and determining whether to associate with the display group by using the session information in the probe response frame.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for associating a station (STA) with an access point (AP). The method for associating a first AP with an STA in a wireless LAN includes the steps of: a first AP receiving an association request frame from the STA; the first AP requesting authentication information on the STA from a second AP with which the STA was previously associated; the first AP receiving authentication information on the STA from the second AP, wherein the first and second AP's are linked by a distribution system, the association request frame includes identification information on the second AP, and the authentication information on the STA can include at least one of a paired main key (PMK) and a recertification main session key (rMSK). Accordingly, fast association between the STA and the AP can be achieved by a simplified authentication procedure without repeating a full authentication procedure.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of delivering a user input received from a Human Interface Device (HID) to a source device by a sink device. The method includes: receiving the user input from the HID; generating HID user input information including a first field that represents a type of the HID, a second field that represents an interface type of the HID, and a third field that includes the user input received from the HID; and transmitting the configured HID user input information to the source device.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically, disclosed are a method and an apparatus for setting up a high-speed link in a WLAN system. A method for a station (STA) setting up the high-speed link in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: transmitting to an access point (AP) a request frame including a generic advertisement service (GAS) configuration change query; and receiving from the AP a response frame including response information with respect to the GAS configuration change query, wherein the response information may include GAS step skipping information when AS information saved in the STA matches the GAS information saved in the AP.
Abstract:
A device and method for active scanning are disclosed. The active scanning method in a wireless LAN can comprise the steps of: allowing an AP to receive a probe request frame containing an the AP identifier; determining whether the AP is a target AP or a non-target AP on the basis of the AP identifier; and performing back-off for the transmission of a probe response frame from a second interval after a first interval is terminated in a minimum channel interval when the AP is a non-target AP. Therefore, the present invention can prevent probe response frames from flooding a STA in a short period of time by distributing intervals in which probe response frames are received to the STA. In addition, the time used by the STA to perform active scanning can be reduced.
Abstract:
A digital broadcast receiving apparatus for providing an integrated service of a 2D image and a 3D image. The apparatus comprising a demultiplexing unit configured to demultiplex a received digital broadcast signal; a PSIP or PSI/SI processor configured to extract at least any one of 3D service information related to a 2D image channel or service and 2D service information related to a 3D image channel or service from the demultiplexed digital broadcast signal; a decoder configured to decode an extension view video stream and a base view video stream from the demultiplexed digital broadcast signal; and an output formatting unit configured to format the extension view video stream and the base view video stream based on at least any one of the 3D service information and the 2D service information.
