    摘要: A water jet propulsion watercraft includes an exhaust passage, a catalyst member, a water lock, a first oxygen sensor, and a second oxygen sensor. The exhaust passage guides exhaust gas from an engine to an exterior of a hull of the watercraft. The catalyst member is arranged inside the exhaust passage. The water lock is arranged in the exhaust passage downstream of the catalyst member. The first oxygen sensor is arranged in the exhaust passage upstream of the catalyst member. The second oxygen sensor is arranged in the exhaust passage at a position downstream of the catalyst member and upstream of the water lock.

The controller controls the watercraft main body in accordance with a limited mode in which at least a portion of a plurality of functions of the watercraft main body are limited in comparison with the normal mode when the current position of the watercraft main body is not within the specified area.

The speed control device can comprise a revolution speed sensor, a revolution speed acquiring unit and a revolution speed control unit. The speed control device can also work in conjunction with an intake air mass amount control device which can include an electronically-controlled throttle valve, an air mass amount acquiring unit and a throttle opening degree control unit.

The engine is controlled by detecting engine speed, using the detected engine speed to establish an accurate watercraft speed, and detecting an operator steering torque and operator engine torque request. An operational characteristic of the engine is adjusted to increase the engine output by a predetermined amount after a predetermined steering torque is measured and the watercraft is determined to be in a predetermined deceleration phase. The operational characteristic can be an increase in airflow to the engine.

    摘要: A personal watercraft includes a hull and an engine. The engine has an air intake system through which air is delivered to combustion chambers of the engine. An overturn switch detects overturn of the hull. A control device stops an operation of the engine based upon an output of the overturn switch. A throttle valve is disposed in the air intake system to be actuated by a throttle valve actuator. The control device controls the blocks the intake system based upon the output of the overturn switch to inhibit water from moving toward the combustion chambers. The control device allows the engine to be restarted during a preset period of time after stopping the engine operation.

A determining section determines if a prescribed execution condition indicating that a hull body is moving is satisfied. A filter processing section applies a filter process to the engine rotational speed detected by the engine speed sensor to acquire a filtered engine rotational speed. A control section executes a maximum speed limiting control to limit a maximum speed of the watercraft when the prescribed execution condition is satisfied and the filtered engine rotational speed is larger than a prescribed rotational speed threshold value.

The water detection unit includes a water detection chamber arranged such that water around the hull is introduced when the hull is in water, and a water level sensor arranged to detect a water level inside the water detection chamber. The control unit is arranged to judge whether or not the hull is in water based on an output signal of the water level sensor and to set a maximum rotational speed of the engine to a rotational speed less than an upper limit rotational speed so as to restrict the rotational speed of the engine to not more than the maximum rotational speed when the hull is not in water.
