    Abstract: This application provides an intelligent component update method and a communication apparatus. A transmitting end sends indication information about one or more intelligent components to a receiving end. The indication information indicates a to-be-updated intelligent component of the transmitting end and/or a to-be-updated intelligent component of the receiving end. The to-be-updated intelligent component of the transmitting end belongs to a first intelligent module, and the to-be-updated intelligent component of the receiving end belongs to a second intelligent module. Based on the indication information, a to-be-updated indication can be performed for one or more intelligent components in an intelligent module, so that update efficiency and reliability of the intelligent module can be improved without affecting learning performance of the intelligent module, and update costs and system resource waste can be reduced.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided in which a UE transmits sidelink (SL) control information comprising a scheduling assignment (SA) indicating an SL transmission resource for a SL data transmission to a target UE. The SL transmission resource is based on one or more occupied SL resources identified by the UE and the SL transmission resource includes resources for an initial transmission and one or more retransmissions. The UE then transmits the SL data transmission using the SL transmission resource according to the transmitted SL control information. This is done without receiving, in a downlink control information (DCI), a grant of communication resources.

    Abstract: Different filtered-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (f-OFDM) frame formats may be used to achieve the spectrum flexibility. F-OFDM waveforms are generated by applying a pulse shaping digital filter to an orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) signal. Different frame formats may be used to carry different traffic types as well as to adapt to characteristics of the channel, transmitter, receiver, or serving cell. The different frame formats may utilize different sub-carrier (SC) spacings and/or cyclic prefix (CP) lengths. In some embodiments, the different frame formats also utilize different symbol durations and/or transmission time interval (TTI) lengths.

    Abstract: Method and devices are provided for wireless communication. A method involves obtaining, by a receive user equipment (UE), configuration information relating to a sidelink transmission between the first UE and a second UE, the configuration information for indicating to the first UE that the sidelink transmission is not associated with any corresponding sidelink control information (SCI). A further step involves receiving, by the receive UE, the sidelink transmission from the second UE using time and frequency resources indicated by the configuration information. Another method involves obtaining, by a transmit UE, configuration information relating to a sidelink transmission between the first UE and a second UE, the configuration information for indicating to the first UE that the sidelink transmission is not associated with any corresponding SCI and transmitting, by the first UE, the sidelink transmission to the second UE using time and frequency resources indicated by the configuration information.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present application provide methods and devices for use in User Equipment (UE) cooperation. A packet transmitted between a base station and a UE or between UEs includes a packet destination identifier that identifies a destination of the packet. A receiving the packet from a base station or another UE can determine whether the UE is the destination of the packet. When the UE is the destination of the packet, the UE decodes the packet. When the UE is not the destination of the packet, the UE forwards the packet to another UE. The packet may include a packet source identifier that can be used by the destination to determine where the packet originated. In some instances, the cooperative UEs do not need to decode the entire packet to be able to determine the destination of the packet and therefore can forward the packet along with less processing.
