Abstract: In dense Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) deployments, Access Points (APs) in other Extended Service Sets (ESSs) can be hidden (a first AP does not receive signals from a third AP). However, these APs in other ESSs can still interfere with communications between the third AP and the devices communicating with the first AP. To improve service to that device in that situation, the first AP needs information about the third AP in the first AP's decision making processes. In these situations, a second AP, in contact with the third AP, can share information about the third AP with the first AP so that the first AP can avoid colliding with the third AP.

Abstract: Systems, methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for collecting access point telemetry. A first access point is identified that is associated with a single instance on a pod. A hash identifier is identified, where the hash identifier identifies a radio frequency (RF) neighborhood of the first access point based on a geographical location of the first access point. Subsequent access point members of the RF neighborhood are dynamically determined by dynamically assigning a second access point to the RF neighborhood, the dynamic assignment based on the second access point being within a threshold geographical location to the first access point. Telemetry from the second access point is directed towards the single instance on the pod, where the pod receives telemetry for all access points in the dynamically determined RF neighborhood.

Abstract: Spectrum management for coexistence of heterogeneous wireless technologies may be provided. A first Radio Frequency (RF) event metric may be received from a first service end point. The first RF event metric may comprise a time a first event occurred. A second RF event metric may be received from a second service end point. The second RF event metric may comprise a time a second event occurred. Then it may be determined that the time the first event occurred and the time the second event occurred are substantially congruent. Next, in response to determining that the time the first event occurred and the time the second event occurred are substantially congruent, the first service end point and the second service end point may be grouped in a first RF group thereby allowing frequency re-use across similar RF groups. Then different channels may be assigned to the first service end point and the second service end point.

Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for using mobile client density to compensate for variations in path loss between neighboring access points. In one example, a device (e.g., wireless controller) determines one or more mobile client density variation trends in a wireless network location and determines one or more neighbor message power variation trends between at least first and second access points within the wireless network location. The device generates one or more correlation bias factors using the mobile client density variation trends and the neighbor message power variation trends. The device determines a path loss between at least the first and second access points based on the correlation bias factor and data associated with neighbor messages sent between the first and second access points.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for predicting presence of interfering signals on given wireless channel(s) on which an access point is operating and proactively implementing an interference avoidance process. In one aspect of the present disclosure, a method includes determining, by an access point operating according to a first wireless technology and at a first time, that interference from signals of a second technology will occur, at a second time that is later than the first time, on a channel on which the access point is currently operating; selecting, by the access point, an interference avoidance process based on a plurality of factors; and implementing, by the access point, the interference avoidance process such that at the second time the access point is not operating on one or more sub-channels spanning the channel on which the access point is currently operating.

Abstract: An arrangement of three radios maybe provided. The three radios define first and second outer data links and a middle data link. Access to the arrangement of three radios can be biased to the middle data link in one direction upon a data transmission through the first and second outer data links being dominate in an opposite direction. Data transmission with enhanced multi-link single radio (eMLSR) client devices can be prioritized lower than data transmission with simultaneous transmit and receive radio (STR) client devices and non-simultaneous transmit and receive radio (NSTR) client devices. A radio can be configured for data transmission with a client device. The range of the radio is limited when the data traffic through the radio exceeds a determined number of bytes of data in a determined amount of time.

The AP can then modify a bandwidth allocation assigned to the station based on the lower amount of wireless bandwidth.

Abstract: Coordinated Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) sharing may be provided by determining that at least two Access Points (APs) of a wireless network support coordinated FDM TXOP sharing. In response to the determination that the at least two APs support coordinated FDM TXOP sharing, at least one of: a first bias is applied to a channel assignment algorithm to promote an assignment of overlapping channels of the at least two APs, and a second bias is applied to the channel assignment algorithm to promote an assignment of adjacent channels of the at least two APs. Next, channels are assigned to the at least two APs based on an output of the channel assignment algorithm.

Abstract: Techniques for dynamic RF site configuration are provided. Historical association data is collected from a plurality of access points in a physical environment, and a machine learning model is trained to predict future association events, based on the historical association data. Current association data is then collected from the plurality of access points, and at least one predicted association event is generated by processing the current association data using the trained machine learning model. The plurality of access points is allocated to a plurality of radio frequency (RF) sites based on the at least one predicted association event. Finally, at least one of the plurality of RF sites is configured based on the predicted association event.
