Abstract: A display panel includes a plurality of sets of pixel strips extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction, each set of pixel strips includes a plurality of sub-pixel strips in different colors, spacing between every two adjacent sub-pixels in each sub-pixel strip in the first direction is smaller than or equal to 2 μm, each set of pixel strips is divided into a plurality of pixel islands arranged in an array in the first direction, each pixel island includes at least four sub-pixels extending in the first direction in each corresponding sub-pixel strip, a width of a view region formed by light emitted by each sub-pixel in each pixel island being propagated to a human eye through a corresponding lens is smaller than or equal to a pupil diameter.

Abstract: A method, a system, a processing device and a computer storage medium for evaluating a viewpoint density are provided. The method includes: acquiring a quantity of viewpoints of a display panel; comparing a size of an image spot radius of each viewpoint and image point spacing between the viewpoint and an adjacent viewpoint, and selecting one viewpoint as a reference viewpoint, calculating a crosstalk value between another viewpoint except the reference viewpoint and the reference viewpoint; and evaluating a viewpoint density for the auto-stereoscopic display according to the comparison of the size of the image spot radius of each viewpoint and the image point spacing between the viewpoint and the adjacent viewpoint and the calculated crosstalk value between the another viewpoint and the reference viewpoint.

Abstract: A display panel, a display device and a display method. The display panel includes a first microlens array, a pixel island array and a second lens. The pixel island array is configured to display a plurality of sub-original images. The first microlens array is configured to converge light emitted from the plurality of sub-original images so as to obtain imaging light, and the imaging light is capable of forming a first virtual image. The second lens is on a user viewing side of the display panel relative to the first microlens array, and the second lens is configured to converge the imaging light so as to obtain a second virtual image. The first virtual image is a virtual image in which the plurality of sub-original images are stitched and enlarged, and the second virtual image is an enlarged virtual image of the first virtual image.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a backlight device and a display apparatus. The backlight device includes: a light guide plate having a light exit face and a light entrance face, and a plurality of light extraction structures disposed on the light exit face. A light beam is totally reflected in the light guide plate, and can enter the light extraction structure through a surface of the light extraction structure that is in contact with the light exit surface of the light guide plate. The light extraction structure is configured to converge its output light beam when the backlight device is used in a dark display state, and diverge its output light beam when the backlight device is used in the grayscale display state.

Abstract: A display system capable of switching display modes includes an optical waveguide, a display mode switching element formed on a surface of the light exit surface, and a display source system. The optical waveguide has a first and a second surfaces parallel to the first surface. The first surface includes a light incident and exit surfaces. The display mode switching element includes a microlens array formed on a surface of the light exit surface and a filled layer formed on the microlens array. The microlens array has two different refractive indices corresponding to S polarized light and P polarized light, and the filled layer has a smaller one of the two different refractive indices. The display source system is used for emitting linearly polarized light capable of switching between S polarization and P polarization towards the light incident surface to provide a display image for the display system.
