    摘要: A catalyst composition for alpha olefin polymerization is provided. The catalyst composition is prepared by a process including treating PVC containing particles with an organomagnesium compound in an inert solvent, contacting the treated PVC containing particles with a transition metal compound from the group TiCl4, VCl4 or ZrCl4, in the absence of an electron donor, and activating the product particles with a cocatalyst. An organoaluminum compound can also be mixed with the organomagnesium compound prior to treating the PVC containing particles.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the polymerization of olefins, comprising the steps of introducing at least one olefin, at least one polymerization catalyst, at least one cocatalyst and at least one cocatalyst aid, and optionally a scavenger, into a polymerization reactor, and polymerizing the olefin, wherein the cocatalyst aid is a reaction product prepared separately prior to the introduction into the reactor by reacting at least one metal alkyl compound of group IIA or IIIA of the periodic system of elements and at least one compound (A) of the formula RmXR′n, wherein R is a branched, straight, or cyclic, substituted or unsubstituted, hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, R′ is hydrogen or any functional group with at least one active hydrogen, X is at least one heteroatom selected from the group of O, N, P or S or a combination thereof, and wherein n and m are each at least 1 and are such that the formula has no net charge.

    摘要: A solid catalyst component comprises a transition metal-containing metallocene compound, a non-cyclopentadienyl transition metal compound, a magnesium compound and a polymeric material which acts as a support. The catalyst component is combined with co-catalyst organoaluminum compound or a mixture of organoaluminum compounds to provide a catalyst composition useful for olefin polymerization, e.g., to produce linear low, medium and high density polyethylenes or copolymerization of ethylene with alpha-olefins. Product polyolefin polymers have a varied range of molecular weight distributions. The catalyst composition is prepared by a process comprising combining polymer support particles, magnesium compound, transition metal-containing metallocene compound, and non-cyclopentadienyl transition metal compound to provide a solid catalyst component, and, combining the solid catalyst component with a cocatalyst compound to provide a polyolefin polymerization catalyst composition.
