    Abstract: An improved manner of transmitting and receiving messages in sidelink communication is presented in which a wireless device receives sidelink control information (SCI) that indicates a zone ID associated with a sidelink message. The wireless device determines a location of the wireless device and determines whether to send feedback for the sidelink message based, at least in part, on the zone ID associated with the sidelink message and the location of the wireless device. The feedback may include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback, and the sidelink message may include a groupcast message. The wireless device may further receive an indication of an intended range in the SCI and may determine whether to send the feedback based on a combination of the zone ID and the intended range for the sidelink message.

    Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication includes a receiver and a transmitter. The transmitter is configured to transmit of a transport block (TB) via a sidelink that is associated with a wireless communication protocol. The wireless communication protocol specifies that a first transport block size (TBS) associated with the TB is based on a first set of parameters. The transmitter is further configured to transmit sidelink control information (SCI) associated with the TB via the sidelink, and the SCI includes a TBS adjustment value associated with the first TBS.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. When operating in a high-pathloss mode, wireless devices in a network may transmit or receive downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a transmission time interval (TTI) for a physical shared channel (such as a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) or a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH)). A wireless device may determine one or more intervals that correspond to a periodic signal that collides with portions of the TTI. Based on the identified intervals, the wireless device may communicate over the physical shared channel during the TTI. In such cases, the TTI may overlap in time with the one or more intervals to allow communication of the periodic signal during the portions of the TTI. For instance, a periodic signal may be transmitted or received during each of the one or more intervals.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for implementing signaling for indicating a scheduled full duplex (FD) uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) traffic scheduling combination for differentiation of FD traffic. In some aspects, a BS may transmit a downlink control information (DCI) message that includes an indication of the scheduled FD UL and DL traffic scheduling combination. The FD UL and DL traffic scheduling combination may identify scheduled UL and DL transmissions for FD mode operation. The UE may receive the DCI message and identify the scheduled FD UL and DL traffic scheduling combination. In some aspects, the BS may provide a DCI message to the UE that indicates whether a DL transmission is being scheduled that at least partially overlaps with a scheduled UL transmission. The UE may initiate a power save mode based on the received DCI message.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a base station may identify one or more communication paths to a user equipment (UE), and may determine an end-to-end signal quality for each communication path (e.g., a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)), one or more hop SNR values for each hop of each communication path, a ratio of the hop SNR values and the end-to-end SNR of each communication path, or a combination thereof. Based on the determined SNR values, ratios, or both, the base station may select a first communication path for a first type of communications (e.g., uplink, downlink, signal type, or the like) and a second communication path for a second type of communications (e.g., uplink, downlink, signal type, or the like), and may communicate with the UE using the selected communication paths.
