Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a user input at a client system, wherein the user input is associated with one or more intents and one or more slots, generating one or more first dialog acts based on the user input, calculating a task-confidence score based on one or more intent-confidence scores associated with the one or more intents, respectively, and one or more slot-confidence scores associated with the one or more slots, respectively, generating one or more second dialog acts modifying the one or more first dialog acts responsive to the task-confidence score being less than a threshold score, and presenting a response to the user input at the client system, wherein the response is based on one or more of the first dialog acts or the second dialog acts.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a client system associated with a user, a user request comprising a reference to a target object, accessing visual data from the client system, wherein the visual data comprises images portraying the target object and one or more additional objects, and wherein attribute information of the target object is recorded in a multimodal dialog state, resolving the reference to the target object based on the attribute information recorded in the multimodal dialog state, determining relational information between the target object and one or more of the additional objects portrayed in the visual data, and sending, to the client system, instructions for presenting a response to the user request, wherein the response comprises the attribute information and the determined relational information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system that can be used to classify a feedback image in a user review into a semantically meaningful class. During operation, the system analyzes the captions of feedback images in a set of user reviews and determines a set of training labels from the captions. The system then trains an image classifier with the set of training labels and the feedback images. Subsequently, the system generates a signature for a respective feedback image in a new set of user reviews using the image classifier. The signature indicates a likelihood of the image matching a respective label in the set of training labels. Based on the signature, the system can allocate the image to an image cluster.

Abstract: A vehicle dash cam may be configured to execute one or more neural networks (and/or other artificial intelligence), such as based on input from one or more of the cameras and/or other sensors associated with the dash cam, to intelligently detect safety events in real-time. Detection of a safety event may trigger an in-cab alert to make the driver aware of the safety risk. The dash cam may include logic for determining which asset data to transmit to a backend server in response to detection of a safety event, as well as which asset data to transmit to the backend server in response to analysis of sensor data that did not trigger a safety event. The asset data transmitted to the backend server may be further analyzed to determine if further alerts should be provided to the driver and/or to a safety manager.

Abstract: An information technology platform for personalizing an experience of a visitor at a non-profit venue comprising: a network; a server in communication with the network; a mobile computing device to be carried by a visitor to a non-profit venue, wherein the platform determines personalized information about the visitor and a recommendation engine outputs a suggestion for a personalized experience to the visitor to encourage philanthropic activity related to an ongoing philanthropic campaign; and a machine learning system for learning on a training set of photographic data or video data, the learning to train the machine learning system to predict a sentiment towards the ongoing philanthropic campaign of the visitor based, at least in part, on photographic images or video images that are taken by the visitor, that are shared to the visitor, that are shared by the visitor or that include the visitor as a subject.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing mechanisms for automated inventory control are provided. In embodiments, an operational workflow for providing automated inventory control includes automated data collection and automated image data analysis. The automated data collection includes capturing image data for a storage facility by a capturing device (e.g., an unmanned aerial system (UAS)). The automated image data analysis includes functionality to detect objects (e.g., containers, trailers, empty slots, and/or other objects) appearing in the image data (e.g., using a machine learning (ML) model), to identify the objects in the image data (e.g., using the ML model), to inspect the objects (e.g., including determining a condition and/or location of the objects) based on the collected image data and metadata associated with the image capturing device and correlated to the image data (e.g., using an advance mathematical rule-based analysis), and/or to generate results that may be used by an inventory management system.

Abstract: A computing system and methods are provided for georeferencing stabilization. An exemplary method includes: obtaining a video stream capturing an area from a camera of a drone, where the video stream includes a plurality of frames, each including a field of view of the image capturing device and metadata of the image capturing device when the frame is captured; constructing a geographic (geo) lattice for the field of view in each of the plurality of frames, the geo lattice comprises a plurality of points, each being associated with raw coordinates determined based on the corresponding metadata; and building a lattice map with stabilized geo coordinates by (1) aligning the frames, (2) averaging the raw geo coordinates for given intersection points, and (3) building the lattice map based on the averaged geo coordinates of the intersection points.
