Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating in an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network are provided. A first wireless communication device receives synchronization information associated with one or more wireless communication of a multi-hop wireless network. The first wireless communication device determines a transmission timing adjustment for a second wireless communication device of the one or more wireless communication devices based on at least some of the synchronization information. The first wireless communication device transmits a message instructing the second wireless communication device to communicate with a third wireless communication device of the one or more wireless communication devices based on the transmission timing adjustment.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit a request for a base station to establish a wireless communication link between the first UE and a second UE via an assisting device (AD) associated with an assisting node (AN). The first UE may receive first control signaling from the base station including an indication for the first UE to perform a directional learning procedure with the AN in response to the request, and may transmit an uplink message including an indication of a completion of the directional learning procedure. The first UE may receive second control signaling from the base station indicating a set of resources for performing a link configuration procedure between the first UE and the second UE, and may communicate with the second UE via the AD of the AN based on the second control signaling.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit first control signaling to a first set of user equipments (UEs) which identifies a first common configuration information element indicating a first slot format pattern for use by the first set of UEs. The base station may also transmit second control signaling to a second set of UEs which identifies a second common configuration information element indicating a second slot format pattern for the second set of UEs. The first information element and the second information element may be the same or different based on full-duplexing or half-duplexing capabilities of the UEs. In some other cases, the base station may identify a grouping configuration for assigning respective UEs to first or second UE groups which are either associated with uplink or downlink communications with the full-duplex base station.

A base station may indicate to a UE a first set of uplink power control parameters associated with half-duplex communications and a second set of uplink power control parameters associated with full-duplex communications. Alternatively, the base station may indicate the first set of uplink power control parameters and a set of power offsets associated with full-duplex communications. The base station may indicate a first set of resources associated with the first set of uplink power control parameters and a second set of resources associated with the second set of uplink power control parameters or the set of power offsets. In response, the UE may transmit one or more uplink messages over one or more resources of the second set of resources in accordance with the second set of uplink power control parameters or the set of power offsets.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, from a repeater having a first interface and a second interface, information associated with one or more capabilities of the repeater, the second interface being different from the first interface. The base station may determine an operation mode for the repeater based at least in part on the information associated with the one or more capabilities of the repeater, and may communicate with the repeater via the first interface or the second interface. In some aspects, a repeater may transmit, to a base station via a first interface, information associated with one or more capabilities of the repeater, and may communicate via the first interface or via a second interface in accordance with an indicated operation mode, the second interface being different from the first interface. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first node of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network may identify a second, neighboring non-parent node of the TAB network. The second node may be associated with a timing source which may provide more accurate timing information than the parent node of the first node. The first node may transmit a first random access message to the second node to initiate a random access procedure. The second node may transmit a second random access message to the first node, the second random access message including timing information based on the timing source. The first and second nodes may terminate the random access procedure based at least in part on receiving the second random access message.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein support efficient SDM operation in IAB networks. A first node transmits a report to a CU, where the report includes at least one multiplexing capability or condition of the first node. The first node receives a semi-static resource allocation from the CU based on the at least one multiplexing capability, and the first node communicates with a second node based on the semi-static resource allocation. The at least one multiplexing capability includes at least one of SDM or FDM, including full duplex or half duplex. The at least one multiplexing capability is also with respect to one or more transmission direction combinations of the first node.
