    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for wireless communication. The method comprises: determining a first set of slots within a sidelink resource pool, determining a set of candidate single-slot resources, each candidate single-slot resource associated with a slot of the first set of slots, determining a second set of slots within the sidelink resource pool based on the first set of slots, wherein the first set of slots and the second set of slots do not overlap, monitoring for one or more transmissions comprising control information in each slot of the second set of slots, wherein the monitoring comprises using a receive beam, selectively excluding, based on the control information, one or more resources from the set of candidate single-slot resources, and transmitting a sidelink transmission in one or more remaining resources of the set of candidate single-slot resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from another UE, a coordination message that includes resource information (e.g., a preference status) for communication resources. The UE receiving the coordination message may determine a status of one or more resources based on the resource information, an intended recipient of the coordination message (e.g., based on a destination identifier of the coordination message), or a communication connection associated with the one or more resources. The status may indicate that a respective resource of the one or more resources is available, reserved, preferred, or non-preferred, or some combination thereof. In some examples, the one or more resources may be for a sidelink connection or a unicast connection. The receiving UE may utilize the determined status to select one or more resources for a sidelink transmission.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmit user equipment (UE) may determine that a channel busy ratio satisfies a channel busy ratio threshold. The transmit UE may reserve, based at least in part on determining that the channel busy ratio satisfies the channel busy ratio threshold, a resource for transmission of a packet with a particular priority to the receive UE, wherein the resource is in a set of resources outside of a sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) on duration of a receive UE. The transmit UE may transmit the packet using the resource based at least in part on reserving the resource.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. User equipments (UEs) may transmit sidelink control information (SCI) messages indicating reservations for upcoming sidelink transmissions in the same reserved resource. One of the UEs or another UE may detect a collision in the reserved resource based on the SCI messages. A feedback channel resource for indicating the collision may be calculated based on a time domain parameter of a resource mapping between time domain resources of the sidelink feedback channel and time domain resources of the reserved resource or a frequency domain parameter of a resource mapping between frequency domain resources of the sidelink feedback channel and frequency domain resources of the SCI message. A UE may transmit a collision indication in the calculated feedback channel resource. The UEs that transmitted the SCI messages may monitor the calculated feedback channel resource for a collision indication for the reserved resource.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer storage media, for retransmission of sidelink transmissions using network coding with binned feedback. A transmitting device transmits a transport block and a request for a network coding (NC) encoding device to retransmit the transport block to a plurality of user equipment (UEs). The UEs decode the transport block and report an acknowledgment (ACK) or negative acknowledgment (NACK) on a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource associated with a bin for the UEs. The NC encoding device decodes the PSFCH resource for each bin to determine an ACK or NACK status for each bin, and determines whether to encode the transport block in a NC combination packet. The UEs receive the NC combination packet including an encoding of a subset of transport blocks. The receiving devices transmit an ACK or NACK on a PSFCH resource for a bin for each transport block.
