Abstract: A system for providing sturdiness to a support post, that includes a stake that is configured to be inserted into the ground such that it is positioned parallel to a support post that is perpendicular to the ground and an insertion-assistance member that is configured to be removably attached to the stake. The insertion-assistance member includes a body, and a lip that extends in a direction that is perpendicular to the body such that a portion of the lip extends beyond the body in the direction that is perpendicular to the body. The lip is configured to receive force and then transmit the force to the stake to drive the stake into the ground. After driving the stake into the ground, the insertion-assistance member is configured to be removed from the stake and the stake is then secured to the support post to provide sturdiness to the support post.

Abstract: A system and method are used for transporting a plurality of tower sections of a wind turbine on beds of transport devices, such as flat railcars. Supports affix at support locations on beds to accommodate at least one of the tower sections on each of the transport devices. The supports can include bed supports, such as tabs, extending from the beds, and can include cradle supports with slots that engage on the tabs. A circumferential dimension of a cradle is adjusted on each of the supports against which the tower section rests. Each of the tower sections is then supported with at least two of the supports by loading the tower sections on the transport devices. An end of each of the tower sections is then affixed to a flange on at least one of the supports on each of the transport devices.

Abstract: A mobile tower for transportation to and rapid deployment at remote sites where the mobile tower can be engaged with the ground, the mobile tower including an extendable and retractable tower secured to a mobile support structure including a frame having a plurality of rapidly deployable outriggers, wherein the tower includes three series of pivotally interconnected tower sections or segments, sections or segments of which engage with segments of each of the other series when the tower is assembled; the mobile tower including a plurality of guy wires secured between the extendable and retractable tower and the respective outriggers to stabilize the tower after the tower is assembled. The guy wires are preferably secured to the extendable and retractable tower at first and second connecting positions that are displaced from one another about an outer perimeter. Methods of deploying the mobile tower are also disclosed.

Thus, the reinforcement dispensing assembly is configured to automatically and continuously dispense a plurality of reinforcing members as the structure is printed and built up via the at least one printer head and as the supporting frame assembly moves in the vertical direction.
