    摘要: A container for storing and dispensing a liquid product includes a pump operated by a reciprocable control member and associated with a pneumatic servo system. The actuation is achieved by supply of gas pressure, for example, from a reservoir of gas at a pressure of the order of 5 bars, and this is used to actuate the control member of the pump, for example a stepped piston incorporating a pressure multiplying effect. Much higher operating forces on the reciprocable control member can be achieved with this system than were possible by purely manual operation of the valve control member.

    摘要: A dip tube whose tip portion can reach the nooks at the bottom of an aerosol container, so that the aerosol content therein can be assuredly sprayed with substantially no aerosol content being left unused. A weight fixed around the dip tube is arranged so that it does not hit the inner surface of the aerosol container. The dip tube is provided in an aerosol container and an end portion thereof is connected to a valve mechanism. The opposite end of the dip tube is left free. The dip tube conveys the aerosol content from the container to the valve mechanism where it is emitted as an aerosol spray. The dip tube includes a pliable tube main body and a tubular weight fixed on the tube main body adjacent to the free end. An end portion of the tube main body is therefore left exposed by the tubular weight. The length of the exposed end portion is selected so that the end portion is assuredly interposed between the weight and the interior surface of the container.

    摘要: To avoid the use of propellants which are harmful to the environment, a spraying apparatus employs a supply chamber which contains a material to be sprayed and includes a pressure chamber of variable volume. This pressure chamber of variable volume is connected to actuating structure which is provided for increasing the volume of the pressure chamber and thus for sucking material from the supply chamber into the pressure chamber. Since the material within the pressure chamber is kept under pressure by pressurizing structure, a nonreturn valve is disposed in the suction conduit leading to the supply chamber. Material can be sprayed with the aid of the spraying apparatus without any harmful effects on the environment, the use of conventional spraying heads being here possible.
