Abstract:
A circuit board includes an antenna substrate and a main substrate. The antenna substrate has at least one first linking portion. The main substrate has at least one second linking portion. The first linking portion connects with the second portion so that the antenna substrate assembles with the main substrate. Herein, the antenna is substantially perpendicular to the main substrate.

A card edge connector comprises a connector body and a conductive pad, and is constructed such that the conductive pad terminates at a predetermined distance from the end of the tip portion of the connector body, and that there is further provided a protective pad, adjacent to the terminating portion of the conductive pad, which is formed at the same time with the formation of a wiring pattern in a post-fabrication step of the wiring pattern. Using the card edge connector, an electric card and an electric equipment are also provided.
Abstract:
An interposition structure interposed between substrates and capable of guiding the insertion of a connection pin for electrically connecting the substrates to each other, whereby the connection pin can be inserted properly even in cases where the substrates to be connected or other members have a dimensional error caused during production thereof, a positioning error or the like. The interposition structure has an interposition body in which a through hole is formed such that connection pin inlet and outlet portions thereof each have an inner diameter gradually increasing in a direction from the inner part to the corresponding outer open end thereof, and also has a positioning protuberance provided on the underside of the interposition body. The interposition structure is interposed between upper and lower substrates with the positioning protuberance received in a recess formed in the upper surface of the lower substrate, and the connection pin is inserted through a hole in the upper substrate, the through hole, and a hole in the lower substrate.
Abstract:
A printed circuit board that includes contact slider regions between conductive pads on the printed circuit board is disclosed. The printed circuit board is particularly suited for high density situations. According to one embodiment, a printed circuit board according to the invention includes a connection edge for insertion into a connector, a first row of conductive pads disposed on one or both sides of the printed circuit board proximate to the connection edge and extending away therefrom in a predetermined direction, and a row of slider regions disposed on one or both sides of the printed circuit board proximate to the connection edge and extending away therefrom in the predetermined direction, the slider regions being interposed between the conductive pads of the first row. The printed circuit board according to the invention is not only more reliable and easier to manufacture, but it also wears substantially better than previously designed high density circuit boards.
Abstract:
A fluidic gas meter including a flow path structure provided with a fluidic element, a cut-off valve, a pressure switch, a flow sensor, a piezoelectric film sensor, an electronic circuit unit, and a wiring board serving as a mother board and having a function of lead wires. Each of the cut-off valve, the pressure switch, the flow sensor and the piezoelectric film sensor are fixed to the flow path structure. The electronic circuit unit is made up of a counter board and a control circuit board. The counter board is mounted with an electronic circuit for counting up flow-rate signals from the flow sensor and the piezoelectric film sensor and a liquid crystal display device for displaying the amount of gas consumed. The control circuit board is mounted with a control circuit for controlling the cut-off valve, wherein each of the cut-off valve, the pressure switch, the flow sensor, the piezoelectric film sensor and the electronic circuit unit is provided with a plurality of terminals extending perpendicularly to the wiring board. The wiring board is provided with a printed circuit for the interconnection among the terminals. The wiring board has a plurality of V-shaped guide grooves formed therein for receiving the terminals and guiding the terminals to through holes formed at an apex of the V-shape of the guide grooves, wherein the terminals form an electrical connection with the printed circuit of the circuit board, thereby avoiding wiring errors.
Abstract:
According to the invention an improved connector has a housing portion with a base for mounting on a printed circuit board, projecting mounting posts extend from the base, a conductive outer shell and a dielectric body are surrounded by the housing portion, a first conductive contact is carried by the dielectric body and projects from the outer shell and has a first contact portion projecting from the housing for insertion into a corresponding aperture of a printed circuit board, the outer shell has a second contact portion projecting from the housing for insertion into a corresponding aperture of a printed circuit board, the free ends of the mounting posts project outwardly further from the base of the housing than the free ends of the first and the second contact portions, and the connector is characterized in that; each mounting post has a taper toward the free end, and each contact portion has a taper toward the free end and with an apex of the taper that intersects a longitudinal edge of the corresponding contact portion and is aligned with a center line of a corresponding aperture of a printed circuit board.
Abstract:
A plug contact for electrically contacting a circuit board by inserting the plug contact into a via hole in the circuit board, the plug contact having two flat contact arms that are resilient relative to each other, and a connecting region, from which the two contact arms extend in the plug-in direction of the plug contact, the plug contact being punched as a single piece from a flat metallic material. In the connection region, adjacent to the two contact arms, a recess is formed in the plug contact, the distance between the two contact arms increases from the recess towards the free ends of the contact arms, the two contact arms being spread apart relative to each other and the two contact arms together having a width which is the same as or only slightly smaller than the diameter of the corresponding via hole in the circuit board.
