摘要: The present invention relates to a self-rechargeable hybrid battery and an electronic device including the same. Since the self-rechargeable hybrid battery includes a solar cell and a capacitor which is charged by current output from the solar cell, the charging efficiency of energy output from a solar cell may be increased in an eco-friendly manner, and the self-rechargeable hybrid battery includes electrodes having high transparency, electrical conductivity and interfacial capacitance, and thus may be applied to a transparent device.

摘要: The present invention relates to a carbonaceous material derived from a plant starting material, which is useful for electronic materials for conductive materials, capacitor electrodes, storage battery electrodes, nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrodes and the like. The present invention relates to a carbonaceous material for electronic materials, which is obtained by burning a carbon precursor derived from palm husk, and which is configured such that: the potassium content in the carbonaceous material is 100 ppm or less; the calcium content in the carbonaceous material is 100 ppm or less; and the elemental oxygen content in the carbonaceous material is 0.25% by weight or less.

摘要: A tantalum powder having a value of hydrogen (H) content (ppm) of the tantalum powder divided by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area (m2/g) of the tantalum powder (H/BET) is greater than 100 is provided. The tantalum powder can be used as an anode of a capacitor, such as a solid electrolytic capacitor, to obtain a capacitor having large capacitance and low current leakage. Methods of producing the tantalum powder, anode, and capacitors including the tantalum powder, also are provided.

摘要: A solid electrolytic capacitor that comprises a capacitor element, a lead wire, an anode termination, and a cathode termination is provided. The capacitor element contains a sintered porous anode body, a dielectric that overlies the anode body, and a solid electrolyte that overlies the dielectric. Further, the lead wire is in electrical contact with the anode body and contains a first region that is located in proximity to a surface of the capacitor element. The lead wire contains a core that extends outwardly from the surface, and an oxide layer coats at least a portion of the core within the first region.

摘要: A novel hybrid lithium-ion anode material based on coaxially coated Si shells on vertically aligned carbon nanofiber (CNF) arrays. The unique cup-stacking graphitic microstructure makes the bare vertically aligned CNF array an effective Li+ intercalation medium. Highly reversible Li+ intercalation and extraction were observed at high power rates. More importantly, the highly conductive and mechanically stable CNF core optionally supports a coaxially coated amorphous Si shell which has much higher theoretical specific capacity by forming fully lithiated alloy. Addition of surface effect dominant sites in close proximity to the intercalation medium results in a hybrid device that includes advantages of both batteries and capacitors.

摘要: A wet electrolytic capacitor that contains a casing that contains a cylindrical sidewall is provided. The cylindrical sidewall defines an inner surface that surrounds an interior. First and second outer anodes are positioned within the interior of the casing. The first outer anode has a radiused sidewall and an opposing planar sidewall and the second outer anode has a radiused sidewall and an opposing planar sidewall. A central anode is also positioned within the interior of the casing between the first and second outer anodes. The central anode contains opposing first and second outer sidewalls intersecting with opposing first and second inner sidewalls. The first and second inner sidewalls are planar, and the first planar inner sidewall of the central anode faces the planar sidewall of the first outer anode and the second planar inner sidewall of the central anode faces the planar sidewall of the second outer anode.

摘要: To improve the reliability of a power storage device. A granular active material including carbon is used, and a net-like structure is formed on part of a surface of the granular active material. In the net-like structure, a carbon atom included in the granular active material is bonded to a silicon atom or a metal atom through an oxygen atom. Formation of the net-like structure suppresses reductive decomposition of an electrolyte solution, leading to a reduction in irreversible capacity. A power storage device using the above active material has high cycle performance and high reliability.

摘要: The present application is generally directed to ultrapure synthetic carbon materials having both high surface area and high porosity, ultrapure polymer gels and devices containing the same. The disclosed ultrapure synthetic carbon materials find utility in any number of devices, for example, in electric double layer capacitance devices and batteries. Methods for making ultrapure synthetic carbon materials and ultrapure polymer gels are also disclosed.
