A variable capacity condenser according to the present invention comprises a dielectric substance, two electrodes, and a flexible electrode. The dielectric substance has two end faces. The two electrodes are disposed on one end face of the dielectric substance. The flexible electrode faces the other end face of the dielectric substance. The flexible electrode is pressible by a pressing member to vary a distance between at least a portion of the flexible electrode and the other end face of the dielectric substance.

    摘要: Disclosed is a ceramic trimmer capacitor comprising a ceramic board having a substantially semi-circular stator electrode formed on one surface thereof, which is pressed and gripped between a rotor member composed of a metal and an insulating frame, wherein a plurality of arcuate convex portions are formed on the frame on the surface thereof having abutting contact with the ceramic board so that the periphery of the rotor member is supported by the arcuate convex portions. In this ceramic trimmer capacitor, the reliability of the stability against cracking of the ceramic board and the dependency characteristic of the electrostatic capacitance on the rotor load are highly improved.

    摘要: A MEMS tunable capacitor comprises first and second opposing capacitor electrodes, wherein the second capacitor electrode is movable by a MEMS switch to vary the capacitor dielectric spacing, and thereby tune the capacitance. A tunable dielectric material and a non-tunable dielectric material are in series between the first and second electrodes. The tunable dielectric material occupies a dimension gd of the electrode spacing, and the non-tunable dielectric material occupies a dimension g of the electrode spacing. A third electrode faces the movable second electrode for electrically controlling tunable dielectric material. A controller is adapted to vary the capacitor dielectric spacing for a first continuous range of adjustment of the capacitance of the MEMS capacitor, and to tune the dielectric material for a second continuous range of adjustment of the capacitance of the MEMS capacitor, thereby to provide a continuous analogue range of adjustment including the first and second ranges. This arrangement provides independent control of the MEMS function and the dielectric tuning function, and enables a continuous adjustability.

    摘要: Disclosed is a device for varying capacitance which pertains to the field of application of electronic devices and components. The technical essentials of the present invention lie in that: two dielectrics are disposed in parallel with an isolation layer interposed therebetween; the two dielectrics each are connected to an electrode at the same one end face thereof; the other end face of each of the two dielectrics is provided with an elastic conductive pad; a gasket is provided between the two dielectrics and the elastic conductive pads. The relative position and compressed area between the elastic conductive pads and the dielectrics vary according to the magnitude of the external force so that the capacitance between the electrodes of the dielectrics is varied accordingly within a certain range. Therefore, once the value and the variation of the capacitance between the electrodes are measured, the magnitude and the status of the external force which brings about the variation of the capacitance can be obtained. The device of the present invention has a simple structure and high sensitivity. Also, it has a definite zero initial value and a maximum value of the capacitance, and therefore is easy for handing and measurement.
