Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a control unit for vehicle control and a server which distributes map information to the control unit. The map information includes information on a first type of road whereby full or partial driving assistance of the vehicle is possible, and information on a second type whereby full or partial driving assistance of the vehicle are not possible. The server includes an output unit which transmits information on a second type of road existing in a predetermined range from a first type of road on which the vehicle is traveling, and such that the first and second types of road form a predetermined angle or less. The control unit includes a map management unit including information on the first and second types of road, and a vehicle control unit controlling the vehicle by using the information on the first and second types of road.

Abstract: Provided are a map generation system and a mobile object configured so that the map accuracy of an occupancy grid map can be ensured while a memory capacity and an arithmetic processing load can be reduced. The map generation system includes a storage (27) configured to store, as detection information, a detection value obtained for each detection unit by a detection device (4) in chronological order, a map producer (23) configured to produce the occupancy grid map based on the detection information stored in the storage (27) and cause the storage (27) to store the occupancy grid map, and an influence ratio calculator (24) configured to calculate an influence ratio for the occupancy grid map for each piece of detection information stored in the storage (27). The map producer (23) sorts the detection information based on the influence ratio calculated by the influence ratio calculator (24) to produce the occupancy grid map.

The map information is associated with an evaluation value indicating a certainty of the map information for each location in an absolute coordinate system. Information indicating that the intervention operation is performed is included in driving environment information indicating a driving environment of a vehicle. The driving assist level determination device is configured to acquire, based on the driving environment information, intervention operation information indicating an intervention operation location where the intervention operation is performed, acquire, based on the map information, the evaluation value for each point or section in a target range, and determine, based on the evaluation value and the intervention operation location, an allowable level for each point or section within the target range.

Abstract: A computing device is provided comprising a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor. The instructions are executable to receive a raw aviation information notice that comprises text. A text language analysis model is used to extract metadata from the raw aviation information notice. The metadata comprises aviation operation information that describes a status of a component of an airspace system. Geospatial aviation data is received that corresponds to the component of the airspace system. The aviation operation information is mapped to the geospatial aviation data to thereby generate geometry data for the aviation operation information. The geometry data and the metadata are used to generate an enriched aviation information notice. The instructions are further executable to output the enriched aviation information notice.

The map information may be used to facilitate controlled movement of a vehicle.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for synchronizing map updates for a navigating autonomous vehicle. A management service on a managing node can receive an update to a portion of a first map, where a limited visibility map, which is a subset of the first map, can be determined based on a geographical area around an autonomous vehicle navigating a route. The limited visibility map can be synchronized among all the nodes while the autonomous vehicle is using the limited visibility map by the management service delivering, to a plurality of downstream nodes, the update to the limited visibility map when the update does not modify a portion of the limited visibility map, and by bypassing, to the plurality of downstream nodes, the update to the limited visibility map when the update modifies a portion of the limited visibility map.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing permissions and authorizing access to a service supported by a computing device. Abstract: A method for providing a navigation map to a vehicle includes receiving, at a server, a request message in order to update the navigation map of the vehicle. A response message for updating the navigation map of the vehicle is generated based on the determined scope of change.
