    摘要: A landscape lighting system includes a light engine slug, an LED secured to a leading end of the light engine slug, an LED driver for controlling operation of the LED, wherein the LED driver is spaced from the LED, and conductive wires electrically interconnecting the LED driver and the LED. The lighting system includes a plurality of interchangeable light diverting elements adapted to be secured over the LED. Each of the light diverting elements has a unique light diversion angle associated therewith, whereby only one of the light diverting elements is secured over the LED at any one time. The landscape lighting system includes a light intensity controller in communication with the LED driver. The light intensity controller includes a control element that enables an operator to selectively increase and decrease the intensity of the light generated by the LED.

    摘要: A light has a housing of plastic material and a light fixture that is arranged within the housing and that receives at least one light bulb. The housing is made from plates that each have outer edges that are beveled at an angle of 45 degrees and provide contact surfaces where the plates adjoin one another. The plates are glued to one another in the area of the contact surfaces over the entire surface area of the contact surfaces in such a way that the plates are joined flush without the outer edges projecting past one another. The housing has a bottom side provided with a circular cutout, wherein the light fixture projects through the circular cutout into the housing. A member is provided that releasably closes the circular cutout. The member is a base or a closure lid.

    摘要: A luminaire to illuminate surfaces comprises a housing, a mounting fixture and a light source. The housing includes a base having a bottom surface positionable on a surface to be illuminated, an interior, and at least one window providing access between the interior and an exterior of the housing. The mounting fixture extends at least approximately perpendicularly downward with respect to the bottom surface of the base to secure the housing into a peripheral portion of the surface to be illuminated. The light source has a principal axis of emission that is directed outwardly through the window of the housing at a downwardly oriented angle with respect to the bottom surface of the base such that, when in use with the luminaire mounted to the surface to be illuminated, the principal axis of emission of the light source is directed at a portion of the surface to be illuminated.

The LED modules are mounted on an outside wall of the second heat sink. The heat pipes have condensing portions embedded in the bottom surface of the first heat sink and evaporating portions sandwiched between the outside wall of the second heat sink and the LED modules.

    摘要: Lighting systems and apparatus for a swimming pool, having a sidewall sized and shaped to define a perimeter of the swimming pool, a liner for covering the sidewall and a bottom of the swimming pool so as to create a watertight cavity for receiving water, the liner including a light-transmitting portion, and a backlighting apparatus for mounting to a generally continuous surface of the sidewall between the liner and the sidewall and configured to transmit light through the light-transmitting portion of the liner to illuminate the swimming pool. In some embodiments, the backlighting apparatus includes a housing configured for mounting on the surface of the sidewall between the liner and the sidewall, the housing having a light-transmitting front cover configured to align with the light-transmitting portion of the liner, and at least one light source sized and shaped to fit within the housing for emitting light through the front cover to illuminate the pool. In other embodiments, the backlighting apparatus includes a rear sheet portion for mounting on the surface of the sidewall between the liner and the sidewall, a light-transmitting cover sheet portion connected to the rear sheet portion, and at least one light source provided between the rear sheet portion and the cover sheet portion for emitting light through the cover sheet portion and the light-transmitting portion of the liner to illuminate the swimming pool.

    摘要: An elongated perimeter light comprising a linear array of light sources (LEDs) that are electrically illuminated. The array of light sources is disposed within an elongated transparent tube, with the tube transmitting and dispersing the light from the array giving the appearance that said array of light sources is a continuous light source. The array of light sources is capable of being cut at intervals down its length to shorten it. The light sources that remain in the array continue to emit light and the tube can be cut to match the length of said array. Systems for lighting structural features comprising a plurality of elongated perimeter lights electrically coupled in a daisy chain with the electrical power at each of the perimeter lights being transmitted to the successive light. Each of the perimeter lights can be cut at intervals down its length.
