    摘要: A modular advertising or display insert, module or replacement lid to a water cooler provides a display panel or image for viewing by a person getting water at or passing by the water cooler. The display panel may be a back-lit photograph or transparency, a flat or curved screen monitor or the like. The monitor may be remotely controllable via a modem or other remote communication means for remote changing of the pictorial image on the monitor. The display module is constructed to mount to the water cooler housing and to fit in place to maintain the design lines of the existing water cooler. The display module may be placed on a water cooler retroactively, after the water cooler has been placed at a targeted or desirable location, or may be incorporated onto a water cooler prior to placing the water cooler at the targeted or desirable location.

    摘要: A distiller control circuit includes a power bus including first and second lines and a fan circuit connected across the lines and including a fan motor and a fan thermostat in series. There is also a heater circuit connected across the lines and including a heater and a heater thermostat in series. The fan thermostat is normally open, closes at an elevated temperature and automatically re-opens when the temperature subsides. The heater thermostat is normally closed, opens at an elevated temperature and must be manually reset to the closed position. The raw water vessel has a reset mechanism with a pivot-mounted bar and a contact surface on the bar. When the contact surface is depressed, the bar is urged to the second position for resetting the heater thermostat. The heater circuit terminates in a two-stud male connector and the platform has a two-slot female connector. The studs slide into electrically-conductive engagement with the slots when the raw water vessel is inserted into the condensing platform.

    摘要: An apparatus for batch distilling a liquid at sub-atmospheric pressure, without the aid of a vacuum pump. The apparatus includes an evaporator section having a valved entry port through which a batch of liquid in a first atmospheric condition is added to the evaporator section. A condenser section receives distillate and is in communication with the evaporator section. A valved vent is provided for sealing said apparatus from the outside atmosphere to form a second atmospheric condition which is sealed from the atmosphere after a heating element vaporizes said liquid into an initial sufficient amount of a first vapor to purge the first atmospheric condition from the apparatus through the valved vent. A condenser is disposed for condensing a sufficient amount of the first vapor to form a third atmospheric condition at a pressure below the first atmospheric condition, and for condensing a second vapor to produce distillate.

    摘要: A water purification device mounted within a housing adapted to be positioned on an existing water cooler/dispenser has a valve control member extending from the base of the housing and is positionable within the water reservoir of the dispenser to control the release of purified water from the device to the reservoir. The device includes a feedwater tank into which supply water is fed and which feeds water to a water level control tank which communicates with the bottom of a boiler which is maintained at the same level as the water in the control tank. The control tank includes a control valve which maintains the water in it to a predetermined level above the level of the heating element in the boiler. The boiler is connected to condenser coils for condensing vaporized water from the boiler to form distilled water which is directed through a carbon filter to a distillate storage tank where the purified water is stored until required by the water cooler/dispenser. Baffles above the boiler heating element preclude heated water from being driven into the condenser.

    摘要: A low profile water distiller has a housing. A steam chamber is located within the housing having a horizontal dimension greater than its vertical height. A condenser is also located within the housing having a horizontal dimension greater than its vertical height. The vertical height of the condenser is generally the same as the vertical height of the steam chamber. A raw water conduit extends in a generally horizontal plane within the housing for delivering water to be distilled into the steam chamber. A steam conduit also extends within the housing for delivering steam from the steam chamber to the condenser. The steam conduit extends in a generally horizontal plane parallel to the generally horizontal plane of the raw water conduit.
