    Abstract: Disclosed are grips and methods of making grips for use with the handle of an article, and in particular for use with fishing poles and golf clubs. Grips preferably include a multi-layered gripping member and an inner sleeve or mounting body. The gripping member can include an outer layer with a fabric layer coated and preferably saturated by polyurethane. The outer layer can be bonded to an inner layer to form the gripping member which is then attached to the sleeve. The sleeve can be ground from a starting block of material or may be injection molded. Also disclosed are handles including a connector configured to couple to a portion of a fishing pole. Such handles may include a multiple layers and can be selectively removed from the article. Methods are also provided for selectively coupling exchangeable handles to articles including fishing poles.

    Abstract: A golf swing training device including a hinge interposed between two elongated members. The hinge permits the elongated members to selectively break from longitudinal alignment along a first axis with the first elongated member when a prescribed differential force between the first elongated member and the second elongated member is applied to break the longitudinal alignment. The golf swing training device includes a club head including a club head face and a hosel, wherein the hosel is configured to receive an end of the second elongated member. The hosel includes a face angle adjustment mechanism having a plurality of settings to adjust a club face angle of the club head relative to one or more axes of the hinge assembly. A fastener is configured to releasably secure the club head through the hosel to one of the elongate members.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a lacrosse head having a stop member, a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a transverse wall. The stop member may be configured to receive a handle defining a horizontal centerline. The first and second sidewall may extend from the stop member in a forward direction, with the transverse wall connecting the first and second sidewalls opposite to the stop member. When viewed from a side view, a lower sidewall rail of the first sidewall may descend at a first angle, relative to the horizontal centerline, from a first rearward end portion adjacent to the stop member to a second forward end portion at a transition point of the first sidewall, and the first rearward end portion may be raised relative to a lowermost point of the stop member, such that the stop member is offset downwardly from the first rearward end portion.

    Abstract: A golf club head with at least one cavity including a fill material comprising a polymer and a plurality of microscopic glass bubbles, and methods of manufacturing such golf club heads, are disclosed herein. In particular, the golf club head is an iron having a striking face, a rear portion, and an internal cavity disposed behind the striking face, which is at least partially filled with the fill material. The plurality of microscopic glass bubbles constitutes at 5-70% of the volume of the fill material, and more preferably approximately 20-30% of the volume of the fill material. The polymer material preferably is a polyurethane having a Poisson's ratio of 0.40-0.50. In some embodiments, the fill material takes the form a medallion affixed to a rear surface of the striking face, while in others, the fill material is injected into the internal cavity.
