摘要: A wearable defibrillator includes a plurality of ECG electrodes removably attached to a patient and configured to sense a cardiac condition of the patient, and at least one therapy pad configured to deliver electrical therapy to the patient. The wearable defibrillator may include a microphone configured to receive an audio input and sense environmental noise and a speaker configured to output one or more alarms signaling that treatment is about to be provided to the patient. At least one processor of the wearable defibrillator is operatively connected to the plurality of ECG electrodes, the at least one therapy pad, a memory, and the at least one audio device. The at least one processor is configured to monitor the sensed cardiac condition and increase a volume of the one or more alarms when the microphone senses from the environmental noise that the wearable defibrillator is in a high noise environment.

摘要: A wearable medical device configured to monitor a patient for cardiac arrhythmias includes a water-resistant belt, ECG sensing electrodes, and therapy electrodes discrete from the ECG sensing electrodes. At least some of the ECG sensing electrodes and therapy electrodes are disposed on one or more common adhesive backings configured to be adhesively attached to the patient's torso. The wearable medical device also includes an elongated cable, including a removable connector, and a control unit configured to be removably electrically coupled to the electrodes via the removable connector. The control unit is configured to monitor a sensed ECG of the patient, and responsive to a detection of cardiac arrhythmia, provide at least one defibrillating pulse to at least one of the therapy electrodes. The control unit is housed in a waterproof case formed from a waterproof material that is sealed to prevent ingress of water during operation in a wet environment.

摘要: A system for configuring an ambulatory medical device includes an ambulatory medical device configured to monitor at least one electrocardiogram signal received from a patient for an occurrence of one or more cardiac events. The system also includes a remote computing device configured to receive a set of threshold values related to operation of the ambulatory medical device. The threshold values identify one or more conditions indicative of an occurrence of one or more cardiac events. The remote computing device is configured to query a master lookup table to determine a lookup code associated with the received set of threshold values, establish a communication link with the ambulatory medical device, receive an activation notification indicating that the ambulatory medical device has been activated, and encode a key. The encoded key includes the lookup code. The remote computing device is configured to transmit the encoded key to the ambulatory medical device.

摘要: An ambulatory medical device configured to analyze heart rates in different operating modes includes a plurality of ECG sensing electrodes, a plurality of therapy electrodes and at least one processor configured to in a default operating mode, perform a default heart rate calculation for determining a heart rate of the patient for use in detecting a cardiac arrhythmia condition of the patient. The at least one processor is configured to change a device operating mode from a default mode based on detecting patient activity to an activity operating mode, and in the activity operating mode, perform a different heart rate calculation from the default heart rate calculation for determining the heart rate for use in detecting the cardiac arrhythmia condition of the patient during the activity operating mode. The at least one processor is configured to deliver the treatment in response to detecting the cardiac arrhythmia condition.

摘要: An external wearable medical device includes a plurality of electrocardiogram (ECG) sensors, at least one accelerometer configured to be disposed on a patient, and at least one processor operatively coupled plurality of ECG sensors and the at least one accelerometer. The at least one processor is configured to receive an ECG signal from the plurality of ECG sensors, receive patient activity data from the at least one accelerometer, and detect, based on the patient activity data from the at least one accelerometer, data indicative of an impending syncope event. The at least one processor is configured to issue a notification of the impending syncope event, and store in a memory during a first time period data comprising the ECG signal in association with information descriptive of impending syncope event, and transmit to a remote server during a second time period the stored data for analysis at the remote server.

摘要: An arrhythmia monitoring device includes a plurality of pairs of ECG sensing electrodes disposed in a garment configured to be worn about a torso of a patient, and signal acquisition circuit configured to be electrically coupled to the plurality pairs of ECG sensing electrodes. The device includes a processor in communication with the signal acquisition circuit configured to execute a selection process comprising identifying a quality of each of a plurality of ECG signals, ranking the signals based on the identified quality, and selecting at least two ECG signals to monitor having highest quality. The processor is configured to re-execute the selection process following an event including at least one of the garment shifting on the torso, the garment being repositioned on the torso, and the garment being removed and returned to the torso of the patient, and monitor the selected at least two ECG signals for a cardiac arrhythmia.

摘要: A cardiac monitoring and treatment system includes a wearable defibrillator worn about the torso of a patient and a remote device configured to communicate with the wearable defibrillator. The wearable defibrillator includes one or more buttons configured to be actuated by the patient to cause the wearable defibrillator to withhold an imminent delivery of a therapy necessitated by a detected cardiac arrhythmia. The remote device includes a touch screen including one or more remote response buttons accessible by the patient to respond to a notification of the imminent delivery of the therapy necessitated by the detected cardiac arrhythmia. Actuation of either the one or more remote response buttons of the remote device or the one or more buttons of the wearable defibrillator causes the wearable defibrillator to withhold the imminent delivery of the therapy necessitated by the detected cardiac arrhythmia.

摘要: A wearable arrhythmia monitoring and treatment device for improving confidence in determined arrhythmias prior to treatment includes a plurality of sensing electrodes, one or more therapy electrodes, and an electrode signal acquisition circuit having a plurality of inputs. The electrode signal acquisition circuit is configured to sense a respective signal provided by each of a plurality of different pairings of the plurality of sensing electrodes. The wearable arrhythmia monitoring and treatment device includes a monitoring and detection circuit including at least one processor configured to analyze the respective signals provided by each of the plurality of different pairings of the plurality of sensing electrodes, change a confidence level in a determined arrhythmia condition based on the respective signals provided by the plurality of different pairings of the plurality of sensing electrodes, and initiate a therapy to the patient via the one or more therapy electrodes based on the confidence level.

The garment includes a breathable and stretchable fabric, an elastic material, and a loose material. The device includes at least one defibrillator component including a power source, a conductive wiring configured to stretch to accommodate the subject's chest size and enhance comfort and couple any of the at least two therapy electrodes and the at least two sensing electrodes to the at least one defibrillator component, an alarm module operatively coupled to the at least one defibrillator component, and one or more response buttons operatively coupled to that at least one defibrillator component.
