Abstract: A system for managing an individualized cardiac rehabilitation plan for an ambulatory cardiac rehabilitation patient includes an externally worn device configured to monitor cardiac activity of the patient and a server in communication with the externally worn device. The server includes a computer-readable medium and at least one server processor configured to receive one or more inputs from a healthcare provider, develop a patient-specific cardiac rehabilitation plan, including a plurality of exercise sessions, based on the one or more inputs, transmit the rehabilitation plan to the externally worn device, receive patient data from the externally worn device, and record one or more status identifiers for each past exercise session based on the received patient data. The at least one server processor is configured to adjust the rehabilitation plan based on the one or more recorded status identifiers and transmit the adjusted rehabilitation plan to the externally worn device.

Abstract: An external wearable medical device includes a plurality of electrocardiogram (ECG) sensors, at least one accelerometer configured to be disposed on a patient, and at least one processor operatively coupled plurality of ECG sensors and the at least one accelerometer. The at least one processor is configured to receive an ECG signal from the plurality of ECG sensors, receive patient activity data from the at least one accelerometer, and detect, based on the patient activity data from the at least one accelerometer, data indicative of an impending syncope event. The at least one processor is configured to issue a notification of the impending syncope event, and store in a memory during a first time period data comprising the ECG signal in association with information descriptive of impending syncope event, and transmit to a remote server during a second time period the stored data for analysis at the remote server.

Abstract: A non-invasive bodily-attached ambulatory medical monitoring and treatment device with pacing is provided. The noninvasive ambulatory pacing device includes a battery, at least one therapy electrode coupled to the battery, a memory storing information indicative of a patient's cardiac activity, and at least one processor coupled to the memory and the at least one therapy electrode. The at least one processor is configured to identify a cardiac arrhythmia within the information and execute at least one pacing routine to treat the identified cardiac arrhythmia.

Abstract: An external wearable defibrillator for monitoring a patient for cardiac-related events is provided. The defibrillator includes ECG sensors configured to be disposed about a torso of the patient, therapy electrodes, and at least one motion sensor. The ECG sensors, therapy electrodes, and at least one motion sensor are configured to be worn continuously for an extended period of time. The defibrillator includes a wearable medical device controller including at least one processor configured to receive ECG data, receive motion data, identify at least one of ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation, initiate a treatment protocol including a defibrillation shock, and, using at least one of the ECG data or the motion data, identify a predetermined pattern for syncope. The predetermined pattern includes bradycardia. The at least one processor is further configured to record the predetermined pattern in a memory and perform an intervening action to address the predetermined pattern.
