Abstract:
Border/packet gateway control systems and a control method thereof are provided in the embodiments of the invention, the system includes a service control unit, a resource control unit and an interconnecting execution unit. Through schemes of the embodiments of the present invention, the service control information obtained from the service control unit by the interconnecting execution unit in charge of current interconnecting services integrates requirements of three aspects: an IP network interconnecting request, real-time network resource information and control policies of the operator, such that both the user and the operator can obtain satisfying services. According to the schemes of the embodiments of the present invention, in the NGN, highly effective, secure and reliable network interconnecting is realized through effective control on the border/packet gateway based on the network resources and control policies, and NGN network performance is thus improved.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for implementing media gateway controller status monitoring of media gateway. The method monitors the silent time of the media gateway controller message by providing an Inactivity Timer or a general timer and a message receiving flag on the media gateway independently, and sends a Notify message to the media gateway controller so as to trigger the media gateway controller to return a message indicating it is in normal status. After registering with the media gateway controller, the media gateway starts the Inactivity Timer or the general timer according to the returned Registration Successful message, to start to monitor the status of the media gateway controller.
Abstract:
A method and a device for acquiring media stream information are provided. The method includes the following steps. A media gateway controller (MGC) sends to a media gateway (MG) a command request for acquiring media stream information, where the command request carries property parameters corresponding to the desired media stream information. The MGC receives a corresponding command reply returned from the MG, and acquires the desired media stream information from the corresponding property parameters carried in the command reply. Therefore, the MGC is enabled to acquire from the MG the media stream information, and synchronization between media contents is realized.
Abstract:
A method for responding to termination service state change indication is provided. The method includes: receiving a command message indicating a termination service state change, in which the command message at least includes a method parameter and a duration parameter, the method parameter indicates a change method of the service state, and the duration parameter indicates a maintaining duration of the service state after being changed; and changing the service state of the termination according to method parameter content information of the received command message, and maintaining the changed service state according to duration parameter content information of the received command message. Accordingly, a media gateway controller (MGC) and a media gateway (MG) of the termination service state change indication based on the media gateway control protocols are also provided. The termination service state change and the maintaining duration of the service state after being changed are indicated simultaneously, which is rather convenient for the MG or MGC to realize effective subsequent control on the termination after the service state change of the termination.
Abstract:
A method for exchanging range format support information is provided. The method includes the following steps. A media gateway (MG) receives a command request sent by a media gateway controller (MGC), in which the command request is adapted to deliver range formats requested to be supported by the MG. The MG determines supported range formats according to the range formats requested to be supported by the MG.
Abstract:
A method for realizing metering pulses in Next Generation Network (NGN), which enables an MGC (media gateway controller) to cooperate with an MG (media gateway), so as to realize the metering pulse service. When it is necessary to initiate the charging, the MGC transmits the metering pulse signal to the MG, and then the MG transmits the first metering pulse to the user equipment immediately, and periodically transmits the subsequent pulses according to the Pulse Count and Pulse Interval specified by the signal parameter.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for controlling the reporting of an event timestamp. The method includes the following steps: a timestamp control parameter is set; the MG determines whether to report the timestamp of the event according to the timestamp control parameter. Further, the present invention discloses an MG and an MGC. The technical solution provided by the present invention controls the MG to report the timestamp of an event; enables the MGC or other applications that require the timestamp of the event to determine the actual time when the event appears according to the obtained timestamp; and controls the reported event not to include the timestamp if the MGC or other applications do not need the timestamp of the event, thus saving the bandwidth resources and other system resources.
Abstract:
A method for gate controlling a media gateway mainly includes the following: the media gateway receives gate control information for gate controlling media streams of the media gateway from a media gateway controller; and the media gateway performs gate control to the media streams passing through the media gateway according to the gate control information.
Abstract:
A communication system for implementing IP cross-domain interconnecting via Border media Gateway (BG) includes: different IP domains, each of which includes: a Media Gateway Controller (MGC) for call control and a Media Gateway (MG) for media bearing; the communication system includes a BG for implementing interconnecting of the IP domains as well. A communication method based on the communication system, includes: a calling MG and a called MG located in different IP domains implements call switching and media stream creating with a BG under the control of MGCs in the different IP domains; and the calling MG communicates with the called MG based on the media streams created. Thus the cross-domain interconnecting between different IP domains via BGs is realize.
Abstract:
When receiving Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) information, we provide a way to determine whether to store such, which may include sensitive user input information. More specifically, a media gateway (MG) obtains DTMF digit mask control information, which indicates whether DTMF digit information may include sensitive user input information not suitable for storage. Based thereon, it decides, whether to store the received DTMF digit information. In this way, the DTMF digit mask control information controls whether to store the user input information on the DTMF digit information processing device in the architecture with the service function being separated from the bearing function; thus, avoiding information security risks brought by indiscriminate storage of sensitive contents in the user input information.
