An electronic device includes a battery; a display; a touch sensor configured to detect a touch on the display; a pressure sensor disposed between the display and the battery configured to detect a pressure on the display; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to obtain a pressure signal using the pressure sensor, to identify, in response to the obtaining of the pressure signal, touch information including at least one of an occurrence of a touch signal and a position of the touch signal corresponding to the touch obtained through the touch sensor, and to adjust at least one characteristic related to charging of the battery based on at least a portion of the pressure signal and the touch information.

A method for providing camera operations using a haptic function, and an electronic device implementing the same are provided. The method of operating the electric device includes receiving, by an electronic device including a camera, an input to activate the camera; receiving a request to output guidance information for assisting with photographing with the camera; determining haptic feedback corresponding to the guidance information; and outputting the determined haptic feedback.

A method and apparatus for content management are provided. The method and apparatus efficiently manage content so as to provide a convenient user interface in an electronic device supporting content playback, browsing and storage. The method includes obtaining attribute information of a content item from a storage device, registering the attribute information in a content database, determining content items to be played back by a content player using the attribute information registered in the content database, creating a content list on the basis of the determined content items, displaying the content list, and playing back a content item selected by a user from the content list.

The processor displays a user interface (UI) of a first application for transmitting or receiving a message stored in the memory, on a display, receives a user input for transmitting an emoji, to which a specified function is set, to an external electronic device through the input interface, obtains information necessary to perform the specified function, using identification information of the external electronic device, includes the obtained information in the emoji such that the external electronic device performs the specified function through the emoji, displays the emoji on the UI displayed on the display, and transmits the emoji to the external electronic device through the communication interface.
