    Abstract: A display device includes a transmissive display module and an optical control member which provides light emitted from a light source to the transmissive display module. The optical control member includes a barrier member and a focus control member coupled to a surface of the barrier member. The barrier member includes a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal layer to transmit or reflect the light incident thereto based on an arrangement of liquid crystal droplets therein. A left-eye barrier pattern and a right-eye barrier pattern are formed at different time points by controlling the arrangement of the liquid crystal droplets.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a display device. A display panel outputs a first image in a first mode and outputs a second image in a second mode. A switch lens array is placed on the display panel and outputs the first image as a two-dimensional (2D) image in the first mode and converts the second image into a three-dimensional (3D) image in the second mode. A driving controller receives an image signal, converts the image signal into 2D image data based on a reference gamma value, and converts the image signal into 3D image data based on a correction reference gamma value different from the reference gamma value. A driving controller includes a gamma selection unit that selects one correction gamma value among a plurality of correction gamma values as the correction reference gamma value depending on predetermined depth information of the 3D image.
