Abstract: In a method of operating a light field three-dimensional (3D) display device having an RGBG pixel structure, multi-view image data including RGB data at multiple points of view are received, RGB rearrangement data including R sub-pixel data, G sub-pixel data, and B sub-pixel data are generated from the multi-view image data by extracting two adjacent ones of the R sub-pixel data at a same pixel row at a same point of view, by extracting two adjacent ones of the G sub-pixel data at a same pixel row at different points of view, and by extracting two adjacent ones of the B sub-pixel data at a same pixel row at a same point of view, RGBG data are generated by performing RGB-to-RGBG data conversion on the RGB rearrangement data, and a 3D image is displayed using the RGBG data.

Abstract: Disclosed is a display device. A display panel outputs a first image in a first mode and outputs a second image in a second mode. A switch lens array is placed on the display panel and outputs the first image as a two-dimensional (2D) image in the first mode and converts the second image into a three-dimensional (3D) image in the second mode. A driving controller receives an image signal, converts the image signal into 2D image data based on a reference gamma value, and converts the image signal into 3D image data based on a correction reference gamma value different from the reference gamma value. A driving controller includes a gamma selection unit that selects one correction gamma value among a plurality of correction gamma values as the correction reference gamma value depending on predetermined depth information of the 3D image.

Abstract: A display apparatus and driving method are provided. The display apparatus, which operates in a display mode or a sensing mode, includes: a first signal line configured to apply a first driving signal to a pixel circuit during the display mode and to apply a sensing input signal to the pixel circuit during the sensing mode; a second signal line configured to apply a second driving signal to the pixel circuit during the display mode and to transfer a sensing output signal from the pixel circuit during the sensing mode; and a pixel including the pixel circuit, wherein a first current path for image display is formed in the pixel circuit during the display mode, and a second current path, configured to measure a resistance of a pressure resistance layer between the first signal line and the second signal line, is formed in the pixel circuit during the sensing mode.
