A method and an apparatus for recommending a service provided by a local area data network (LADN) are provided. The operation method of a mobile edge computing (MEC) control server includes receiving, from at least one of a user equipment (UE), an access and mobility management function (AMF) device, or a session management function (SMF) device, location information including a cell identity (ID) of a cell to which the UE is connected or a tracking area identity (TAI) of a tracking area in which the UE is located, determining at least one LADN accessible by the UE, based on the location information, determining a first service to be recommended to the UE from among services providable to the UE through the at least one LADN, and transmitting, to the UE, information associated with the recommended first service and a LADN capable of providing the recommended first service.

The processor implements the method, including: detecting whether the electronic device is communicatively connected to an external display device through a wireless communication circuit or an electrical connector, when the electronic device is communicatively disconnected from the external display device, displaying, on the display, a first user interface for configuring a first screen timeout time associated with the display, when the electronic device is communicatively connected to the external display device, displaying a first screen on the display, and displaying a second screen on the external display device, the second screen different from the first screen, and displaying, on the external display device, a second user interface for configuring a second screen timeout time related to the external display device.

According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include: a battery; a charging circuit; a wireless power reception circuit configured to acquire transmission power wirelessly output from an external electronic device; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to charge the battery through the charging circuit by using reception power acquired through the wireless power reception circuit, obtain status information related to the charging operation during the charging operation, and transmit a specified signal, corresponding to pausing of the transmission power, to the external electronic device such that the external electronic device pauses outputting of the transmission power, at least on the basis of the status information. Provided is a head-mounted display (HMD) apparatus and a method of controlling information output for the HMD apparatus. The HMD apparatus includes a frame in which one or more devices are installable, an interface unit to functionally connect to at least one of one or more devices installed in the frame and an external device, a detection unit to detect a user input, and a processor to perform a process of determining the one or more devices installed in the frame, controlling the interface unit according to the determination result, and controlling the one or more devices installed in the frame and the external device on the basis of user input detected through the detection unit.
