    Abstract: A display device and a method of driving the same are provided. The display device according to an embodiment includes a plurality of pixel rows, a data driver configured to provide first data voltages which correspond to first line grayscale data to pixels disposed in an (N−1)-th pixel row, provide second data voltages which correspond to second line grayscale data to pixels disposed in an N-th pixel row, and provide third data voltages which correspond to third line grayscale data to pixels disposed in an (N+1)-th pixel row, and a data compensator configured to compensate for the second line grayscale data by using one of a first compensation and a second compensation based on the first line grayscale data, the second line grayscale data, and the third line grayscale data.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels grouped into blocks divided into block rows extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction, wherein each block includes two or more pixels connected to a first power source line, and each pixel is assigned with a grayscale value in a range of grayscale values that is divided into a plurality of grayscale sections; and a first power source voltage adjuster selecting a reference block row, and determining a magnitude of a first power source voltage supplied to the first power source line based on a number of blocks in the reference block row having a grayscale section that is same as a maximum grayscale section of the reference block row. The maximum grayscale section corresponds to a grayscale section that includes a largest grayscale value having a grayscale value ratio greater than a minimum ratio.

    Abstract: An image signal modifying method is disclosed. In one aspect, the image signal modifying method includes inputting a gray level interval of a first dynamic capacitance compensation (DCC) lookup table to a current gray level which is a target in a previous image signal when it is overdriven (DTG) and 0 to a gray level of the previous image signal (PIG). The method also includes searching for a data value in an adaptive color correction (ACC) lookup table corresponding to a gray level equal to a numerical value of the DTG (ALT) and performing an algorithm based on the DTG, the ALT, and the gray level interval of the first DCC lookup table. The method further includes generating a second DCC lookup table based on the algorithm, and performing second DCC processing on the input image signal based on the second DCC lookup table.
