Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A network node may transmit a first message using a first transmit power based on a first set of values corresponding to a set of power control parameters. The set of power control parameters may include an accumulated transmit power control parameter. The network node may receive a second message including information indicative of at least one of a second set of values corresponding to the set of power control parameters. The network node may transmit a third message using a second transmit power based on a value corresponding to the accumulated transmit power control parameter. The value may correspond to the accumulated transmit power control parameter, which may be based on a first difference between one or more of the first set of values from before the second message and one or more of the second set of values.

Abstract: Enhanced inter-RAT communication operations are disclosed. In one aspect, a device may identify one or more trigger events for monitoring control signals of another network for inter-RAT procedures, such as monitoring for one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs). In another aspect, the device may perform a comparison of multiple SSBs. In another aspect, the device may identify one or more release conditions for releasing local settings data associated with a customized measurement gap. In another aspect, the device may send the local settings data to a server. In another aspect, the device may send an extended signaling message indicating a timing offset between network devices.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) expedites cell reselection by reselecting a neighbor cell prior to call setup. In one instance, the UE measures a signal quality of a serving cell and a signal quality of the neighbor cell. The UE starts a reselection timer for reselecting the neighbor cell based on the measured signal quality of the serving cell and the measured signal quality of the neighbor cell. The UE reselects the neighbor cell prior to a scheduled expiration of the reselection timer.

Abstract: Various embodiments include methods for adjusting timing advance values on a mobile communication device that includes receiving, on the mobile communication device, a timing advance adjustment value from a base station and determining whether the timing advance adjustment value exceeds an adjustment threshold. The mobile communication device may ignore the timing advance adjustment value in response to determining that the timing advance adjustment value exceeds the adjustment threshold, and may adjust a timing advance value stored on the mobile communication device by the timing advance adjustment value in response to determining that the timing advance adjustment value does not exceed the adjustment threshold.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to managing communications for a first subscription and a second subscription of a wireless communication device, including, but not limited to, using a reduced re-order release timer having a reduced length in response to determining that a length of a tune-away interval exceeds a threshold. In some embodiments, a reduced status prohibit timer is initiated in response to determining that the length of the tune-away interval exceeds a threshold. In some embodiments, two or more status reports are transmitted during a same status prohibit timer in response to determining that transmission window occupancy exceeds a threshold.
