Abstract: A configuration is disclosed to enable a UE to preempt SRVCC by triggering a handover to a Wi-Fi network. The apparatus determines whether a Wi-Fi cell is viable as a first target cell, from a plurality of target cells, serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus extends a TTT timer length based at least in part on the determination that the Wi-Fi cell is viable as the target cell serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus initiates a handover to the Wi-Fi cell from the first network prior to the expiration of a TTT timer and prior to the first network initiating a handover to a second target cell, from the plurality of target cells, on a second network.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may establish a communication connection with a serving cell associated with a first discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle configuration, determine, based at least in part on at least one of a first on duration of a first DRX cycle indicated by the first DRX cycle configuration or a type of traffic of one or more communications received during the first DRX cycle, an autonomous measurement gap associated with a neighboring cell, and perform a measurement of the neighboring cell during the autonomous measurement gap. In another aspect, the device may identify one or more release conditions for releasing local settings data associated with a customized measurement gap. In another aspect, the device may send the local settings data to a server. In another aspect, the device may send an extended signaling message indicating a timing offset between network devices.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to enhancing data communication performance in a wireless communication network including a first subscription associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second subscription associated with a second RAT, where the wireless communication device uses a same radio frequency (RF) resource to communicate over both the first RAT and the second RAT. The first RAT is used, in part, for data operations while the second RAT is used, in part, for voice operations. During idle state voice operations, the RF resource is reallocated from performing data operations to performing idle state voice operations, causing interruptions in the data operations. The wireless communication device adjusts at least one or a duration and an occurrence of the idle state voice operations to reduce the impact on the data operations.

The UE may pause a transmission of the scheduling request according to an overlap in time between a response window associated with the scheduling request and a scheduled tuneaway period of the UE. The UE may tune away from the base station during the tuneaway period. The UE may transmit the scheduling request after a completion of the tuneaway period according to the pausing.
