    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first indication of a first number of antenna ports for which the UE is to report channel state information (CSI), and a second indication of a second number of antenna ports on which the UE is to measure CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs). The second number may be less than the first number. The UE may receive an indication of one or more antenna port parameters, where each may be associated with one of the first number of antenna ports or the second number of antenna ports. The UE may determine the CSI for the first number of antenna ports using the one or more antenna port parameters and measurements made by the UE on the second number of ports, and may transmit a report including the CSI for the first number of ports.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit a trigger message to a second UE, where the trigger message triggers a channel state information (CSI) report that includes a first CSI reporting mode of a set of CSI reporting modes and a reporting quantity for the first CSI reporting mode. For a first reporting quantity, the first UE may trigger the second UE to transmit a CSI reference signal (RS), and the first UE may then receive the CSI-RS to determine CSI based on the CSI-RS. Additionally or alternatively, for other reporting quantities, the first UE may transmit the CSI-RS to the second UE, and the second UE may transmit channel state feedback to the first UE based on measuring CSI for the received CSI-RS, where the first UE determines the CSI based on the channel state feedback.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource activation or deactivation within a resource set. In one aspect, a base station (BS) may transmit control signaling to a user equipment (UE) including an indication to switch an activity status of one or more CSI measurement resources within a CSI resource set from an activated state or a deactivated state to the other. The control signaling may include a bitmap indication for the activity status for the one or more CSI measurement resources or a CSI measurement resource identifier for each CSI measurement resource in an activated state. The UE may transmit a CSI report including information from measuring a channel state, a channel interference, or both for the one or more CSI measurement resources based on the activity status of each.

    Abstract: A configuration to determine a starting bit for PUSCH repetition with TBS scaling. The apparatus determines a TBS of a PUSCH transmission based at least in part on a set of PUSCH resources corresponding to a set of PUSCH repetitions for transmission over a repetition unit comprising a plurality of slots. The apparatus determines a starting bit location of each code block of the PUSCH transmission for a first slot of the plurality of slots. The apparatus determines a different starting bit location of each code block of the PUSCH transmission for each slot of the plurality of slots following the first slot, wherein each of the different starting bit locations for each slot following the first slot is based on a two level RV cycling. The apparatus transmits the PUSCH repetitions, each slot comprising encoded data based on respective starting bit locations.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for port selection for channel state feedback with analog feedforward. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes selecting one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) ports, of a plurality of CSI-RS ports, for the UE to report CSI. The port selection includes selecting any of the plurality of CSI-RS ports for selecting CSI-RS based on a grouping of the plurality of CSI-RS ports. The UE determines a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) formed by a linear combination of the one or more selected CSI-RS ports. The UE computes at least wideband linear combination coefficients for the selected CSI-RS ports.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability report to a base station indicating a triggering offset. The base station may configure the UE with one or more channel state information (CSI) measurement resources and send downlink control information (DCI) that triggers an aperiodic CSI report for some of the CSI measurement resources. The UE may report CSI by measuring the CSI resources after the triggering offset. In some cases, CSI reporting related to the different codebook types (e. g., Type I, Type II) may be modified, where after identifying a type of codebook and determining which type of codebook to process (e. g., based on a number of CSI processing units), the UE may identify a priority associated with different CSI reports. The UE may be configured with various parameters that relax or modify the processing of Type II CSI reports.
