Abstract: A contactless connector apparatus is provided with a first coil closely opposed to a second coil so as to be electromagnetically coupled thereto. The first coil includes: an inner transmitter coil wound around an axis passing through its center; and an outer transmitter coil wound around the axis and outside the inner coil. One end of the outer transmitter coil is connected to one end of the inner transmitter coil such that, when a current flows through the transmitter coils, a direction of a loop current generated around the axis by a current flowing through the inner transmitter coil is opposite to that of a loop current generated around the axis by a current flowing through the outer transmitter coil. A self-inductance of the outer transmitter coil is larger than that of the inner transmitter coil.

Abstract: A power transfer system is provided with a transmission coil and a reception coil respectively provided along a first surface and a second surface that face each other proximal to each other. The transmission coil and reception coil are provided proximally to be electromagnetically coupled to each other. The winding wire of the transmission coil is wound on the first surface, and the winding wire of the reception coil is wound on the second surface. The power transfer system is provided with a magnetic body provided proximately so as to be electromagnetically coupled to the transmission coil and the reception coil to cover at least one part of a region in which at least the winding wires of the transmission coil and reception coil are present between the first surface and the second surface.

Abstract: A code modulator transmits power to at least one code demodulator via a transmission path. The code modulator is provided with: a code modulation circuit to which output power of a power supply is supplied, the code modulation circuit modulating the output power of the power supply to generate a code-modulated wave by code modulation using a modulation code based on a code sequence, and transmitting the code-modulated wave to the code demodulator via the transmission path; and a control circuit that controls the code modulation circuit. The control circuit sets a frequency of the modulation code to a multiple of an output power frequency of the power supply.

Abstract: A foreign object detector detects a metallic foreign object between a first resonator and a second resonator which is composed of a parallel resonant circuit including a coil and a capacitor. The foreign object detector includes the first resonator; an oscillator circuit capable of oscillating at a first frequency (f1) which is lower than a resonant frequency (fr) of the second resonator and at a second frequency (f2) which is higher than the resonant frequency (fr); and a measurement circuit to measure changes in input impedance of the first resonator. The measurement circuit detects a metallic foreign object between the first resonator and the second resonator based on: changes in input impedance of the first resonator as measured by the measurement circuit while the oscillator circuit is oscillating at the first frequency f1; and changes in input impedance of the first resonator as measured by the measurement circuit while the oscillator circuit is oscillating at the second frequency f2.

Abstract: A converter includes: a terminal that receives code-modulated power into which first alternating-current power has been code-modulated with a modulation code; and a circuit that converts the code-modulated power with a conversion code to generate second alternating-current power. Abstract: The power transmitter apparatus is provided with code modulators which modulate powers of phase components of three-phase alternating-current power to generate code-modulated waves, respectively, by code modulation using modulation codes based on code sequences different from each other, and transmits the code-modulated waves to the at least one power receiver apparatus via the transmission path. The power receiver apparatus is provided with code demodulators, each of which demodulates one code-modulated wave of the received code-modulated waves to generate code-demodulated power by code demodulation using a demodulation code based on a code sequence identical to the code sequence of the modulation code used for the code modulation of the one code-modulated wave, the code-demodulated power being generated as power of one of phase components of multiphase alternating-current power.
