Abstract: An information terminal apparatus includes a communication section configured to perform communication with an image pickup apparatus capable of performing time-lapse photographing, a signal processing section configured to generate, halfway in a photographing period by the image pickup apparatus, a check image based on a plurality of picked-up images transmitted from the image pickup apparatus and acquired via the communication section, and a display control section configured to display the check image generated by the signal processing section. Halfway in photographing of the time-lapse photographing, a time-lapse moving image is generated using a photographing result of the time-lapse photographing performed to that point and displayed, whereby quality of the time-lapse moving image is made predictable. A change of setting of the time-lapse photographing is received and reflected on subsequent time-lapse photographing, whereby a user easily obtains a desired picked-up image.
