摘要: An apparatus, method and computer program product are provided for creating a personalized visualization of broadcasting stations that enables a user to quickly identify broadcasting stations that are in line with his or her tastes or preferences. Broadcasting stations may be plotted at specific locations within a personalized visualization based on the categories in which media objects broadcast by those broadcasting stations fall. This location may be continuously updated as the broadcasting stations continue to broadcast additional media objects falling within different categories. A user may similarly be plotted, and continuously updated, within the personalized visualization based on the categories in which media objects reproduced by the user fall. By viewing the personalized visualization, the user may be able to identify which of the broadcasting stations monitored are broadcasting media objects that are most in line with the media objects he or she has been reproducing.

摘要: Mechanisms are described for providing visual representations of metadata so as to allow for an easier, more intuitive, and more entertaining way for a user to manage metadata by allowing a user to execute operations relating to the metadata through interactions with the visual representations of that metadata. A user can further define visual objects and use such objects for searching media content items, such as by using a visual representation of metadata as a filter and displaying graphical depictions of associations between the visual representations of metadata and the associated media content item. Moreover, operations executed on the visual representations, such as copying, pasting, and modifying the visual representations, are translated to actions on the metadata itself and can be applied across different devices, as well as different media content items and groups of media content items.

摘要: Provided herein is a method, apparatus and computer program product for gathering and presenting emotional response to an event in the form of an emotional response timeline. In particular, the method may include generating a timeline of a collected emotional response of a user relative to an event, selecting, by a processor, a portion of the timeline of the emotional response that meets at least one predefined criterion, and generating an edited event based on the portion of the timeline of the emotional response that meets the at least one predetermined criterion. The emotional response may include one or more of a heart rate, a facial expression, a vocalization, or a facial flush. The at least one predetermined criterion may include an emotional response above a predefined threshold.
