摘要: A method for generating surround view images derived from image data captured by cameras of a vehicular surround view vision system includes equipping a vehicle with a plurality of cameras disposed at the vehicle. Image data is captured by the cameras and provided to a control of the vehicle. The provided captured image data is processed to generate a first three-dimensional representation in accordance with a first curved surface model as if seen by a virtual observer from a first virtual viewing point exterior of the vehicle having a first viewing direction. The first representation is output to a display screen of the vehicle for display to the driver of the vehicle. Responsive to actuation of a user input, the processing is adjusted to generate a second three-dimensional representation in accordance with a second curved surface model, and the second representation is output to the display screen.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at the vehicle and a video display device disposed in the vehicle. Image data captured by the camera is provided to an ECU of the vehicle. A first portion of a scene that is within the field of view of the camera is not viewable by a driver of the vehicle and a second portion of the scene exterior of the vehicle that is within the field of view of the camera is viewable by the driver. Responsive at least in part to processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, the vehicular vision system determines an augmented reality overlay. Responsive to processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, the video display screen displays video images of the exterior scene. The video display device displays the augmented reality overlay at the displayed video images.

摘要: A vehicular trailering system includes a plurality of cameras disposed at a vehicle, and a control having an image processor that processes image data captured by the plurality of cameras. With a trailer hitched to the vehicle, the system determines trailer angle of the trailer relative to the vehicle responsive at least in part to processing of image data captured by at least some of the cameras during forward motion of the vehicle. With the cameras disposed at the vehicle and with the trailer hitched to the vehicle and responsive at least in part to processing of image data captured by at least some of the cameras during forward motion of the vehicle, an object exterior of the vehicle is detected. Responsive to detection of the detected object, the system plans a path of forward travel of the vehicle towing the trailer that avoids contact with the detected object.

摘要: A vehicular control system includes a camera and a receiver disposed at the equipped vehicle. A control includes an image processor that processes image data captured by the camera to detect vehicles present within the field of view of the camera. The vehicular control system determines presence of another vehicle that constitutes a potential hazard existing exterior of the equipped vehicle responsive at least in part to a wireless communication originating from the other vehicle and received by the receiver. When the other vehicle enters the field of view of the camera, and responsive at least in part to the image processor processing image data captured by the camera, the control detects that the other vehicle is present within the field of view of the camera and controls at least one vehicle function of the equipped vehicle to mitigate collision with the other vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle clearance alert system includes at least one sensor or camera disposed at a vehicle and having an exterior field of view in a direction of travel of the vehicle. A control is responsive to the camera and is operable to determine a height dimension of a structure in the path of travel of the vehicle. The control is operable, responsive to (i) the determined height dimension of a structure in the path of travel of the vehicle and (ii) a height dimension of the vehicle, to determine if there is sufficient clearance between the structure and the vehicle for the vehicle to pass under the structure. Responsive to a determination that there is not sufficient clearance between the structure and the vehicle for the vehicle to pass under the structure, the alert system is operable to generate an alert to the driver of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicle vision system includes a plurality of cameras disposed at a vehicle and having respective exterior fields of view and a display screen for displaying images derived from captured image data in a surround view format where captured image data is merged to provide a single composite display image from a virtual viewing position. A gesture sensing device is operable to sense a gesture made by the driver of the vehicle. A control provides a selected displayed image for viewing by the driver to assist the driver during a particular driving maneuver. The control is responsive to sensing by the gesture sensing device, whereby the driver can adjust the displayed image by at least one of (a) touch and (b) gesture to adjust at least one of (i) a virtual viewing location, (ii) a virtual viewing angle, (iii) a degree of zoom and (iv) a degree of panning.

摘要: A driver assist system for a vehicle includes an object detection sensor disposed at the vehicle and having an exterior field of view and a receiver operable to receive a wireless communication from a communication device remote from the vehicle. The wireless communication is associated with a driving condition of another vehicle and/or a road condition of interest to the driver of the vehicle. A control is operable to process data captured by the object detection sensor to detect an object exterior of the vehicle. The driver assist system is operable to adjust the data processing responsive at least in part to the received wireless communication. Responsive to the data processing, an alert is operable to alert the driver of the vehicle of a potential hazard and/or a system of the vehicle is operable to control a vehicle function to mitigate or avoid a potential hazard condition.

Data is wirelessly received at the vehicle from the data cloud concerning a potential hazard existing forward of the vehicle that has not yet been detected via processing by at a processor of image data captured by the camera and/or radar data captured by the radar sensor. Responsive at least in part to the vehicular control system detecting the potential hazard via processing at the processor of image data captured by the camera and/or radar data captured by the radar sensor, the vehicular control system controls at least one vehicle function of the vehicle to mitigate collision with the potential hazard.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle, at least one non-vision sensor disposed at the vehicle, and a display system of the vehicle that displays video images for viewing by the driver of the vehicle. Image data captured by the camera and sensor data sensed by the non-vision sensor are provided to a control of the vehicle. Responsive at least in part to processing at the control of image data captured by the camera, video images are displayed by a video display screen of the display system. The vehicular vision system determines an augmented reality overlay and the video display screen also displays the augmented reality overlay. The displayed augmented reality overlay pertains to at least one accessory of the equipped vehicle and/or is responsive at least in part to a driving condition of the equipped vehicle.
