Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing a user interface using a multi-point touch capable of immediately carrying out various user commands by changing the direction of force applied to two or more different points inside a touch area, and to an apparatus for same, wherein when contact on two or more different points inside the touch area is sensed, directions of force applied to the two or more points are detected while the contact to the two or more points is maintained when the contact on the two or more points is detected, and a predetermined user command is carried out according to a combination of the directions of force detected from the points.

Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention may include: a flexible display; a bending sensing unit configured to sense a first bending and a second bending of the flexible display; and a control unit configured to execute a first function based on a first sensing result of the first bending from the bending sensing unit, and execute a second function based on a second sensing result of the second bending from the bending sensing unit, in which, when the first bending and the second bending correspond to a first predetermined condition, the control unit executes a third function based on the first bending and the second bending sensed by the bending sensing unit.

Abstract: A multispectral optical sensor is disclosed. In one embodiment, the multispectral optical sensor includes a piezoelectric material, a first sensing layer and a second sensing layer spaced apart from each other on the piezoelectric material and configured to change the propagation speed of the acoustic wave propagated through the piezoelectric material by receiving ultraviolet light and visible light, respectively. The multiple optical sensor further includes a first acoustic wave output part and a second acoustic wave output part disposed on the piezoelectric material respectively corresponding to the first and second sensing layers and configured to generate an electrical signal based on the changed acoustic wave. The multiple optical sensor measures the intensity of ultraviolet and visible light using a single sensor by detecting the change in frequency, and measures the frequency change in the acoustic wave using zinc oxide, gallium nitride), or cadmium sulfide nanoparticles.

Abstract: Provided are a flexible tactile sensor and a method for manufacturing the same. The flexible tactile sensor includes a polymer layer, a first metal layer formed over the polymer layer and a first sensor layer formed over the first metal layer, the first sensor layer comprising a strain gauge configured to change its resistance according to a first strain and a metal wire connected to the strain gauge. The flexible tactile sensor also includes a first cover layer configured to protect the first sensor layer, a second metal layer formed under the polymer layer, a second sensor layer formed under the second metal layer. The second sensor layer includes a strain gauge configured to change its resistance according to a second strain and a metal wire connected to the strain gauge of the second metal layer and a second cover layer configured to protect the second sensor layer.
