    Abstract: This application provides a communication method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: using, by a terminal device, a first receive parameter to receive control information sent by a network device, where the control information is used to indicate a second receive parameter used by the terminal device to receive a to-be-transmitted signal; determining, by the terminal device based on a first antenna panel to which the first receive parameter belongs and a second antenna panel to which the second receive parameter belongs, a beam switching time required for switching from the first receive parameter to the second receive parameter; and receiving, by the terminal device, the to-be-transmitted signal based on the beam switching time.

    Abstract: This application discloses a data sending method, a data receiving method, and an apparatus. The data sending method includes: if first type data is punctured, preserving, by a network device, a punctured first data subset in the first type data and puncture location information of the first data subset in the first type data, and retransmitting the first data subset within a second scheduling period to a user equipment. In this way, the network device does not need to wait for feedback from the user equipment before the network device can perform a retransmission operation, so that latency of retransmission is reduced. In addition, the network device only needs to retransmit the punctured first data subset within the second scheduling period but does not need to retransmit the entire first type data, so that an amount of data to be retransmitted is reduced and fewer transmission resources are consumed.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose an information transmission method and apparatus, and relate to the field of communications technologies. In this technical solution, impact of a beam on information transmission is taken into account, thereby improving robustness of a control channel. The method may include: performing rate matching on a first bit sequence based on beam indication information, to obtain a second bit sequence, where the first bit sequence is a bit sequence obtained by performing channel coding on an original bit sequence; mapping the second bit sequence onto a time-frequency resource; and sending, to a receive end by using a beam indicated by the beam indication information, the second bit sequence that is mapped onto the time-frequency resource.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to beam configuration methods. In one example method, a terminal device receives a first beam from a network device, where an identifier of a reference signal sent on the first beam is a first identifier. The terminal device configures a receive beam corresponding to the first beam based on a spatial reception parameter corresponding to a downlink synchronization signal associated with current measurement, where before receiving the first beam, the terminal device does not measure or report a second beam corresponding to the first identifier.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the application disclose a reference signal management method, an apparatus, and a system, to resolve a problem of relatively large system overheads in an existing high frequency beam management process. A terminal device receives first information sent by a network device. The first information is used to indicate a first reference signal group that is on a first carrier, there is a correspondence between the first reference signal group that is on the first carrier and a first reference signal that is on a second carrier, and the first reference signal group that is on the first carrier includes at least two reference signals.     Abstract: This disclosure discloses a beam switching method and an apparatus. A terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information indicates a first beam. Then, the terminal device performs one or more of the following behaviors based on the first beam: measuring downlink time-frequency offset information and path loss information corresponding to the first beam, sending, based on the first beam, a signal for uplink timing measurement, and receiving uplink timing adjustment information from the network device, where the timing adjustment information is determined based on the first beam. Further, the terminal device receives second indication information from the network device, where the second indication information indicates to switch to the first beam.     Abstract: This application discloses a beam indication method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: sending configuration information to a terminal device, wherein the configuration information is used to indicate to determine, based on a unified beam indicator, beams used by the terminal device to transmit a plurality of physical channels and/or physical signals; and sending first information to the terminal device; wherein the first information is used to indicate the unified beam indicator; the unified beam indicator is associated with at least one downlink transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state identifier and at least one uplink TCI state identifier; and the downlink TCI state identifier is used to indicate a receive beam of a downlink physical channel, and the uplink TCI state identifier is used to indicate a transmit beam of an uplink physical channel. It can be learned it is helpful to reduce beam indication signaling overheads.
