Abstract: An imaging apparatus facilitating recording of a video within an extraction range while moving the extraction range within an angle of view are provided, which includes an image sensor that captures a reference video which is a motion picture, a housing that accommodates the image sensor, a detection portion for detecting a motion of the housing, and a processor configured to execute setting processing of setting an extraction range smaller than an angle of view within the angle of view in a case of capturing the reference video, extraction processing of extracting an extraction video within the extraction range from the reference video, movement processing of moving the extraction range within the angle of view over time in accordance with the motion detected by the detection portion, and recording processing of recording the extraction video during movement of the extraction range in the movement processing on a recording medium.

Abstract: Provided is an imaging apparatus that obtains a video with a resolution of satisfactory quality and a small angle of view from a video with a large angle of view through real-time image processing. An imaging apparatus has an imaging element that captures an optical image of a standard video with a first angle of view, and a control unit that includes a first mode and a second mode as a video imaging mode and records video data of a video based on the optical image. The control unit executes first recording processing of recording video data of the standard video using the imaging element in the first mode. The control unit executes setting processing of setting a recording region with a second angle of view smaller than the first angle of view in the standard video and second recording processing of recording a video data of a recorded video of the recording region in the second mode. In the first recording processing and the second recording processing, thinning-out drive to thin out a part of readout of a plurality of pixels in the optical image is executed. A second thinning-out rate of the thinning-out drive of the second recording processing is set to be lower than a first thinning-out rate of the thinning-out drive of the first recording processing.

Abstract: Provided are an image processing device capable of performing compression processing on a video captured in each video capturing mode according to a first video capturing mode and a second video capturing mode with different capturing conditions. A possible range of a quantization parameter applied in a case where the video is compressed is made different in the first video capturing mode and the second video capturing mode with different capturing conditions. The quantization parameter is determined within a first range in a case of the first video capturing mode, and the quantization parameter is determined within a second range narrower than the first range in a case of the second video capturing mode. In particular, a second upper limit value of the second range is smaller than a first upper limit value of the first range, and a second lower limit value of the second range is larger than a first lower limit value of the first range.

Abstract: A first imaging unit images angle-of-view mark light of each of other television cameras. An image compositing unit generates a virtual angle-of-view mark image and a virtual angle-of-view frame image as a virtual angle-of-view image showing an imaging angle of view of each of the other television cameras in an imaging angle of view of the host television camera based on the angle-of-view mark light of each of the other television cameras. The image compositing unit generates a composite image by compositing the virtual angle-of-view mark image and the virtual angle-of-view frame image with a video image. The composite image is displayed on a lens monitor of a lens device that is detachable from a camera body.

A video creation method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes setting, in an imaging region of a reference video having a first angle of view, a plurality of regions having a second angle of view smaller than the first angle of view, selecting a selection region of a recorded video from among the plurality of regions, reselecting the selection region from among the plurality of regions to switch the selection region, recording each of a pre-switching video and a post-switching video, displaying the post-switching video after the pre-switching video is displayed and displaying an insertion video in a period between a display period of the pre-switching video and a display period of the post-switching video, and adjusting, during a display period of the insertion video, an exposure amount and the like of a post-switching selection region.-

The image capturing frame cycle control section changes the frame cycle of the first video data captured by the image capturing section from the first frame cycle to a second frame cycle, which is a frame cycle shorter than the first frame cycle, in a case where the detection section detects the flicker.
