Abstract: An air conditioning case includes a first partition wall that receives a condensed water generated by an evaporator, and the first partition wall is disposed above an overlapped portion of a heater core and between the evaporator and the heater core. Therefore, the first partition wall can prevent the condensed water dropped from the evaporator from being applied directly to the heater core. As a result, in a structure in which at least a portion of the heater core overlaps with the evaporator from below, the condensed water of the evaporator is less likely to be applied to the heater core.

Abstract: An opening and closing device includes a casing that defines an air passage, a slide door that includes a door main body slidable to open or close the air passage, and a sliding gear that is disposed on one side of the door main body in its width direction and includes first teeth in a sliding direction, and a drive gear that is rotatable around its axis line extending in the width direction and that includes second teeth in a circumferential direction around the axis line such that the first teeth and the second teeth are arranged in engagement with each other. When the drive gear rotates, a driving force is transmitted from the drive gear to the slide door through the sliding gear to slide the slide door. The door main body is restricted from shifting in the width direction due to the rotation of the drive gear.

Abstract: A heater core is disposed to be inclined with respect to an airflow direction so that a first header tank unit is displaced downstream of a second header tank unit in the airflow direction. Therefore, when a first air mixing door blocks a first heating portion, an air stagnates between a downstream lateral portion of the first heating portion and a second partition wall downstream of the first heating portion, and the air is unlikely to be heated downstream of the first heating portion. Likewise, the air is unlikely to be heated upstream of a second heating portion in a second airflow passage. Therefore, a maximum cooling performance of a vehicle air conditioning unit can be restrained from being deteriorated due to a heat from a heater core.

Abstract: A blower configured to suction and discharge first fluid and second fluid includes a fan and a division wall. The fan is configured to rotate relative to the division wall.
