Abstract: A fluid discharge device is for discharging a fluid includes a duct defining a fluid flow passage and having an opening at a downstream end of the fluid flow passage. The fluid discharge device includes a grill portion disposed in the fluid flow passage to adjust a flow direction of the fluid blown from the opening. The grill portion includes at least an adjustment fin rotatably arranged in the fluid flow passage, and is provided with an auxiliary flow passage that guides a part of the fluid flowing through the fluid flow passage to the opening as an auxiliary flow. The auxiliary flow passage is configured together with the adjustment fin to adjust a flow direction of the auxiliary flow discharged from the auxiliary flow passage to be aligned with the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the fluid flow passage.

Abstract: In an instrument panel provided in a vehicle cabin front section, a face that projects into a vehicle cabin is formed with a T-shape in vehicle rear view. An air-conditioning unit of a vehicle air-conditioning device is provided at an inside of the instrument panel. In the vehicle air-conditioning device, a foot blower outlet provided on the instrument panel blows an air-conditioned airflow toward the feet of a front seat occupant, and an interior air intake provided on the instrument panel takes in air from inside the vehicle cabin to generate the air-conditioned airflow. The foot blower outlet is formed in a lower portion of a side wall at a vehicle width direction central portion of the instrument panel.

The air discharge device includes a main hole for discharging an air flow as a working air flow, an auxiliary hole provided around the main hole to discharge a support air flow, and a vortex suppression structure configured to suppress development of vortices generated in a velocity boundary layer of the working air flow at a downstream side of an outlet of the main hole. This vortex suppression structure is configured to make a central portion of the thickness of the velocity boundary layer of the working air flow at the downstream side of the outlet of the main hole to be closer to a mainstream of the support air flow, at the downstream side of the outlet of the main hole.

Abstract: A plurality of seating surface blowing ports is open at a seating surface of a seat. A first rear seat blowing port is provided on a rear side of the seat and opens toward a rear seat on the rear side of the seat. A single first duct is provided between the plurality of seating surface blowing ports, the first rear seat blowing port and the interior air conditioning unit, and guides the air conditioning wind from the interior air conditioning unit to the plurality of seating surface blowing ports and the first rear seat blowing port. Abstract: An air conditioning unit has an air conditioning case, a blower, and a heat exchanger. The air conditioning case is arranged in a vehicle compartment on a rear side with respect to an instrument panel in a traveling direction of a vehicle and forms an air passage delivering air toward a specified area of the vehicle compartment. The blower has at least first and second impellers and a fan case housing the first and second impellers, and ventilates the air in the air conditioning case by drawing and blowing air, by using a rotation of the first and second impellers, through first and second suction ports formed in the fan case. The heat exchanger is arranged in the air conditioning case on an upstream side of the blower in an airflow direction and exchanges heat of the air. The blower draws air from the heat exchanger and blows the air to the specified area of the vehicle compartment. The fan case has a portion in which at least the first and second suction ports are formed, and the portion is arranged inside of the air conditioning case.
