摘要： Provided is an apparatus and method for resource allocation for multicast data in a broadband wireless access system. In the method, multicast packets are scheduled. Thereafter, a resource allocation message for the scheduled multicast packets divided into a second multicast resource allocation message including information of a user group using a multicast ID and a first multicast resource allocation message including information transmitted in common to users of the user group, and the corresponding message including changed information is transmitted for a change of information. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a waste of resource that is due to the duplicate transmission of some fields of resource allocation information about multicast data.

摘要： A control information transmission and reception method based on a spatial-multiplexing gain, are provided. The control information may be transmitted by obtaining the spatial-multiplexing gain using an E-PDCCH region, and thus, a transmission efficiency of the control information may be improved. The common control information used for decoding the E-PDCCH may be transmitted via a PDCCH, and thus, a base station supporting both a general terminal and an enhanced terminal may effectively transmit the control information. Information associated with an indicator indicating whether the E-PDCCH is to be used during a subsequent resource allocation period may be transmitted, and thus, whether decoding with respect to the E-PDCCH is to be performed during the subsequent allocation period may be determined.

摘要： A method for transmitting to one cell a frame including broadcast channels in a cellular wireless communication system in which a base station supports a plurality of physical channels corresponding to the broadcast channels. The base station generates the frame and transmits the generated frame to a mobile station. The frame includes separate broadcast channels for the respective physical channels. A position, in the frame, of a first broadcast channel for a physical channel capable of supporting a mobile station having the worst channel state is fixed in all of transmission frames. The first broadcast channel includes positional information of the remaining broadcast channels except for the first broadcast channel. The mobile station detects only an address of a broadcast channel for a physical channel allocated thereto from the first broadcast channel among broadcast channels belonging to the frame.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting a time stamp to provide a multicast service by a base station in a communication system is provided. Upon receipt of a multicast service request from a first terminal, the base station determines whether a second terminal exists that was receiving data of the multicast service before the multicast service request is received. The base station determines whether the multicast service data is being transmitted to the second terminal in a unicast manner when the second terminal exists. The base station allocates a first multicast Connection Identifier (CID) and a first time stamp of an earliest order to the second terminal when the multicast service data is being transmitted to the second terminal in a unicast manner. After allocating the first time stamp to the second terminal, the base station allocates the first multicast CID and a second time stamp having a next earliest order to the first terminal. The base station transmits the first time stamp and the second time stamp using a resource allocation message. The first time stamp and the second time stamp represent different playback times of the multicast service data.

摘要： Disclosed is a space-time coding apparatus and method to flexibly adjust diversity/multiplexing orders in a multiple-antenna system. The transmitting apparatus for the multiple-antenna system includes a space-time code controller, an encoder, a demultiplexer, and a space-time encoder. The space-time code controller generates space-time codes by determining bases according to a multiplexing order required by a receiver. The encoder modulates and encodes data destined for the receiver in accordance with a predetermined modulation level. The demultiplexer demultiplexes data received from the encoder in order to transmit the data through at least one antenna. The space-time encoder space-time-codes the demultiplexed data using the space-time codes.

In the method and system, a total frequency band is divided into at least two frequency subbands and there is a guard interval between frequency subbands. 摘要： A method and system for retransmitting data in a communication system are provided. In the retransmission method, a BS determines an automatic retransmission number for a multicast data frame according to the number of MSs of a multicast group, transmits the determined automatic retransmission number to the MSs of the multicast group, and repeatedly transmits the multicast data frame to the MSs until the number of transmissions of the multicast data frame is equal to the automatic retransmission number, irrespective of reception of information indicating whether the multicast data frame has been received from the MSs. Accordingly, resource consumption can be reduced and overhead can be decreased.
