Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for establishing a plurality of group communication channels for a plurality of sub-sets of a plurality of devices. A situation system identifies a geographical area affected by a situation, and a plurality of devices associated with a plurality of users in the identified geographical area. The situation system causes the plurality of devices to enter a situation mode. The situation system obtains protected data from each of the plurality of devices. The situation system generates a data structure that identifies connections between users of the plurality of users and available modes of communication for each connection. The situation system establishes a plurality of group communication channels for a plurality of sub-sets of the plurality of devices.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT), and may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. To do so, a method and apparatus are provided for transmitting groupcast/broadcast/multicast data and control information in the downlink and uplink. The method and apparatus include features for transmitting to a user equipment (UE), configuration information for multicast and broadcast services (MBS), encoding a first bit sequence for the MBS based on a channel coding, identifying a transport block size (TBS) for limited buffer rate matching (LBRM) based on the configuration information, performing the LBRM to the encoded first bit sequence based on the identified TBS, and transmitting to the UE, a second bit sequence identified based on the LBRM.

A method disclosed herein includes sending message requests, identifying at least one of a size of each of the messages associated with the message requests or a priority of each of the messages associated with the message requests, determining to aggregate the message requests, when at least one of the size of each of the messages associated with the message requests is less than a threshold segment size or the priority of each of the messages associated with the message requests is one of the low priority or the medium priority, aggregating the message requests into a single message request, and sending the single message request.

The communication node first receives a first signaling; and then receives a first radio signal in K1 slots and receives a second radio signal in K2 slots; the first signaling is used to determine the K1 and the K2; a first TB is used to generate the first radio signal, while a second TB is used to generate the second radio signal, the first TB comprising a positive integer number of bit(s), and the second TB comprising a positive integer number of bit(s); the K1 slots are divided into X1 slot groups, while the K2 slots are divided into X2 slot groups, and positions of the X1 slot groups and the X2 slot groups are interleaved in time domain. The present disclosure can reduce power consumption and improve coverage performance.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for segmenting and grouping a plurality of network nodes into one or more clusters. Content may be delivered from a transmitting user node to a receiving user node based on which cluster the receiving user node resides. The grouping of the clusters may be dynamically updated in real-time based on user activity data. Such user activity data may be collected from both a transmitting user node (e.g., server) and a receiving user node (e.g., user device) to map the delivery of a relevant communication. Advantageously, a transmitting user may deliver content to other relevant users and a receiving user may receive content from other relevant users.
