摘要： A method for transmitting and receiving data in a communication system. The method generates a frame for mapping each of multiple communication service modes of a base station providing the multiple communication service modes to a user terminal, in units of subframes each having a time interval and a frequency band. The method includes estimating a communication service mode supporting an optimal service among the multiple communication service modes provided by the base station supporting the multiple communication service modes, and sending to the base station a random access message for access to the base station over a shared channel.

Here, a partial cross correlation between the first and second pilot sequences is always ‘0’.

摘要： Method and apparatus for controlling data transmission rate in a wireless communication system during handoff comprises a terminal recognizing an active set comprising a serving base station and at least one non-serving base station with respect to the terminal communicating with the network at a first data transmission rate, receiving a first rate control parameter from the serving base station and a second rate control parameter from the at least one non-serving base station, wherein the first and second rate control parameters are associated with determination of a second data transmission rate of the terminal during the handoff and determining the second data transmission rate in response to the first and the second rate control parameters, wherein the second data transmission rate is one of increased rate, decreased rate and same rate from the first data transmission rate.

摘要： An apparatus and method for allocating frequency resources in an OFDMA mobile communication system. A hop group includes a plurality of hop units, each hop unit being minimum frequency resources which can be allocated in a two dimensional time-frequency domain and a total frequency band of the OFDMA mobile communication system is divided into subbands. A base station allocates at least one hop unit to each mobile station, permutes the sequence of hop units included in each hop group according to a first permutation sequence, allocates the hop units of the each hop group to subbands, permutes the sequence of hop units included in each of the subbands according to a second permutation sequence, and determines the positions of the hop units permuted according to the second permutation sequence to be the positions of physical subcarriers allocated to the each mobile station.

The present invention includes determining an available maximum data rate by comparing a channel information value of a forward link with a first threshold value, determining a data rate based on a quantity of data to be transmitted, terminating to allocate the walsh codes or determining a number of the walsh codes to be requested for the data according to a comparison between the data rates, and determining a number of walsh codes for other terminals by checking a number of remaining walsh codes excluding the number of the requested walsh codes from available walsh codes.
